HELLO OLD FRIEND.
That was strange, Mituna should have answered right away. The thought that Kurloz had the wrong hive was now running through his pan. But when had Kurloz been wrong? He had been so sure, more than anything, that he had taken the right steps and followed into his intuition that led him where he was standing. Not moving an inch, Kurloz lingered to listen, hand up just in case he would have to knock again. The possibility that Mituna didn’t hear him crossed the Capricorn’s mind. This must have been the issue. However, as soon as Kurloz went for a second set of knocks, it was Mituna who flew that door open so hard, that the poor door had no other choice but to suffer the excitement that came in the face of his old pale friend, who seemed more than eager to greet and see him.
Kurloz’s stitched up smile slowly twitched into one of his rare, but warm smiles, taking a few steps close to his friend to wrap his lanky arms around him. He cared not to look Mituna over at this moment, but he wanted to hold him for all the times he could not. With his eyes closing, he took in the scent so familiar and nearly foreign to him, so many apologies were wanting to be said at this time, but in his silence, all Kurloz could do was hug onto the other with a tightness that challenged even the strongest of winds to blow them away.
Goddamn, he missed this mother fucker. He was not going to let go any time soon, less this was some trick in his mind that he allowed himself to be deluded into.
Mituna had a million and one things he wanted to say but failed to get any of it out when Kurloz hugged him. It was almost as if his body had gone into shock before he simply began to shake with joyful sobs. Fuck he was real, this asshole was totally fucking real. Even the smell of sea salt and faygo was flooding his nose as he wrapped his own trembling limbs around the other. Motherfuck he’d missed him so badly. Being through what he had, having met an alternate or two and his time with Kankri. All of it couldn’t amount to the utter joy of being wrapped up like this again.
His mouth opened and closed a few times to try speak but nothing really happened apart from a strange babble. Not that it was sad. Oh no, these tears were happy and he still had a very big smile etched into his face as he clung on tightly to the other. Kurloz would sign or speak when he was ready and Mituna had endless amounts of patience when it came to the lanky Juggalo he held so dearly.
“I Miithhed you brooo...” he muttered, sniffling and lightly rubbing his nose against the other’s chest.
