Day 6: Rare Pairs - Valgaav x Filia

Because judging by the number of fanfics out there (or at least on FF.net) it’s rare. And while canon is not happening, there was something between them.

Do you think Kokichi would be jealous? Shuichi's friends are so nice and close to him ... I especially ask this for Tomo-kun (childhood friend is a famous love trope lol)

OMG. Definitely Kokichi Ouma is a jealous person. Much more if it's about his beloved Saihara-chan. In his case, I think he would have mixed feelings. On the one hand, he would try to respect the fact that Shuichi Saihara has his own life and is normal for him to have friends. But, on the other hand, their closeness to his loved one would bother him a bit. ESPECIALLY if we are talking about Tomo-kun...

In my HC's, Tomo-kun knows Shuichi's mentality perfectly because they grew up together. He knows everything about him and that is something that Kokichi's perhaps disliking about this guy. Still, maybe his jealousy would be more of the childish type ('Saihara-chan is M'BOYFRIEND!') And not the aggressive-possessive type.

God all hell would break loose if the other v3 characters met Shuichi’s uncle. Like I imagine Shuichi inviting everyone over for a big dinner or whatever to meet his uncle. And it immediately goes wrong.

Miu would probably say something suggestive and hit on seichirou(calling him a uilf or smth).

Kaito would probably try to seem cool around him but fail miserably.

Gonta would bring a bunch of bugs over, and his reasoning would probably be like, “Shuichi said he wanted all his friends over!! And he told me that he’s friends with bugs!!” (Even though Shuichi probably only said that to not upset Gonta)

Kokichi would probably act like as if him and Shuichi are dating without saying it explicitly.

Kokichi probably riled up Kiibo about him not being human earlier so he made himself eat the food. Causing Miu to use the dinner table basically as a surgery table and repairing him right there.

Maki probably stabbed the table in frustration at some point at Kokichi’s antics. Ruining the table.

As for the other characters idk what they would do. Sorry for this long ass ask in your inbox, I just thought of it and decided to type it all out.

Seichirou would be looking at the whole situation with an apathetic expression and an internal scream lol. He would surely wonder if his dear Shuichi is safe with those people!

If there ever is an anime for v3 I hope they bring back shuichi’s old friends is they even are real. Maybe it’s because I like the idea of danganronpa using characters seen in games instead of creating new ones for a anime adaption.

I agree with you. I really would like an anime where they exploring much more about Shuichi's life and his circle of friends and family. It's very sad that although he's the protagonist (and the protagonist who managed to destroy DR) his background is a true mystery. They are too many holes for my liking.

I’ve always imagined Shuichi’s uncle looking nothing like Shuichi himself. Since in my head canon shuichi’s dad is the uncle’s brother and I imagine Shuichi inherited most of his appearance from his mother.

So I’d like to think there was probably situations where people mistook the uncle for being a babysitter or someone kidnapping Shuichi lmao.

Well, in my HC's: Shuichi, his uncle and Shuichi's father (uncle's younger brother) are very similar physically because their family genes are strong. In fact, Shuichi is a perfect mix between his parents (in terms of personalities and appearance). His hair color and skin tone are identical to his mother, for example :3.

So Shuichi's uncle is like Alex Cross huh? (Also a male detective that always had failing romances. Differences are that Alex has a kid and finally married someone who didn't dip)

I never watch Alex Cross movie, but based on your comment, my answer is yes. Shuichi's uncle is very unlucky in love, but that's because his own personality is complicated. Personally, my HC (from a logical point of view of psychology) is that Shuichi's lack of romantic initiative is consequence of a faulty model (his uncle) when it comes to romantic relationships.

Shuichi's uncle is a good man, he loves Shuichi very much, but his personal life is ... a story full of ups and downs. It's a roller coaster LOL

Saiouma or saimota?

Both are good. It all depends on what you want to reflect in your story. Saimota is more brotherly, it's like "how happy we are, bro! Hahaha-hehehe" (D'aww). You can do more soft-cute and simple things with both of them. Saiouma is more analytical, at least, from my point of view. I like complex stories when we talk about Saihara and Ouma. For example, there is always a concept of crisis, conflict and resolution. I like that. It's like...Narcissus and Goldmund.
