The reforging of the shards of Narsil, the blade that was broken, into Anduril, Flame of the West.  I was replaying this instance as a memory for the Year 4 Tales: Aragorn part of the 10th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt.  I remember the first time watching all of this unfold, I got a bit teary eyed.  Even this time I had to try to hold back tears, though I already knew what would happen.  I’m a bit of an emotional person, but anything related to storyline in The Lord of the Rings can easily bring on strong emotions for me.  I love how The Lord of the Rings Online has been able to bring a fairly accurate representation of some of these storylines to life for me.  I will forever love this game!

I made Lembas bread (and a Mallorn leaf to wrap it in)!  The Lembas actually turned out really good, so I will definitely have to keep this recipe around.

Look who made a new friend!  And for someone who said he would never ride a horse, Bingo looks quite happy atop Tanglemane... if you ask me!

Dialogue from a quest for the Spring Festival.  I was laughing so hard at this, probably for longer than I really should have.  It should be noted that one should not insult an Elf, for their response may be quite ‘’cruel’’ (or hilarious).  I’ve said it before that the story writers know how to hit me hard in the heart, but they have also proven that they know how to make me laugh over the simplest of things!

Just enjoying our campfire and each other’s company on the Anduin River with Nona, Corudan, and Horn.  During this time we shared stories from our past experiences, most which brought back sad memories.  The writers for this game really know how to hit me right in the heart...

Enjoying a nice stroll with Bingo into Rohan since he is adamant about NOT riding horses or going near any horses at this point in time.  He was pondering the thought of how big Rohan is, and if it is as large as the Shire.  Meanwhile, Thangurwen is trying not to laugh at him, fully aware that Rohan is many, many times bigger than the Shire.  She is pretty sure that he will change his mind about this whole ‘’walking across Rohan’’ idea, but Bingo is a stubborn Hobbit!  Only time will tell-- but for now, we enjoy the short, quiet, walk across the bridge.

A small group of kin members decided to take on the challenge of the ‘’Dragon Wing’’ raid in Helegrod.  This was shortly after defeating the dragon Thorog successfully on our first try!  Here we have (starting on the left) Patwen (our leader), myself, Ghitzy, Yvonne, and Myzdariel.

Later (and sadly not pictured), I returned the ax Mirdanant to the Dwarves, restoring the old friendships that were once bonded between the Elves and Dwarves through the original giving of the ax.  It was a beautiful scene to watch unfold! <3

The Cat Lady’s House in Bree is still one of Thangurwen’s favorite places to go hang out and relax.  If you have not run into this ‘’hidden’’ gem, I would highly recommend looking for it!  If you turn right and go up the Scholar’s Stair shortly after entering through the West Gate of Bree, keep going straight up the stairs, you will find a door labeled ‘’Door’’ with a cat standing outside of it (specific coordinates 30.2S, 52.1W).  Go through that door and you will find this paradise!  <3  There are just so many cute cats here, and I want to take them all!  (If you cannot tell, I am a huge cat person...!)

I absolutely loved this instance!  Playing a game of Brigand-Bashing with the children of Langhold made my day!  Thangurwen even knelt down to get on level with the children in hopes that her size wouldn’t scare them and would make her seem more friendly (even if it meant in the end that they would get to ‘’beat me up’’).

I was not expecting to find one of the Great Eagles out and about in the Great River area!  Bingo really knows how to surprise me with finding all of these new friends.  It had been awhile since I worked on the Bingo Questline, and to be honest, I was actually starting to miss him and Willem Whisker!  It’s so adorable to see Bingo next to such a great and mighty being, mainly because he’s just so tiny!  In the end, I met up with another Eagle in the area (which I didn’t get an image of), so a nice surprise x2!

I love my gear that I received from the Grey Company!  I am also posing with the lovely Prized Grey Company Horse.  I miss these guys already, and I just finished questing with them.  So much heartache from the storyline, but it is so epic and awesome!

Decided to enjoy the feasting table at the Hall of the Huntsman in Enedwaith.  No one else was wanting to join me, sadly.

There are many days where I feel hopeless and struggle just to put a smile on my face. I have found nothing but kindness, compassion, and encouragement from the Lord of the Rings communities that I am a part of. It is because of these small acts that I feel welcomed and part of something that gives me a purpose, for which I am forever grateful!

I finally understand the joke of “Isengard bids five”.  Was not expecting Saruman to show up at this little auction.  Guess who won the auction and all of its items??  This little tid bit made me smile and laugh for longer than it probably should have.
