I wanna get closer to God. My mom passed away suddenly 2 weeks ago. Right now I'm just praying I can break even on the funeral costs between donations and the GoFundMe but right now I'm short and its worrying and I just want to relax and know that he'll provide and everything will be okay. But I'm so worried and scared bc she was my only parent and I'm an only child. I wasnt prepared to lose her yet. I took care of her for 9 years.

I’m deeply sorry to hear this, but keep in mind that everything is well planned in God’s perspective. He will provide you with everything you need, not only money, but also He will be the one supporting you emotionally. He will comfort you, and fill you with love and help you get out of any dark moment. Don’t stress over things you can’t change, but believe that God can change anything in order to protect his children. I will keep you in my prayers 💖

how can i be content with just god? and make him more important in my life?

Knowing Him more. Because when you see how wonderful and loving and merciful and perfect He is, and his interest in having a real relationship with you; you fall in love more, and more, and more… but for that you need to read the Bible, hear about him, study his Word, pray in daily basis, and trusting him. Also you can remember his sacrifices for you, and how much he loves you and cherish you. And how good he is with you. (Sorry for the late response) May God bless you 💖

I was baptised a few weeks ago and was following God's way of life, being careful not to fall off the path. I don't have friends so i really wanted to make friends, and went to an old pub i used to go. Drank a lot and talked with a few people (desperate to make friends). I feel like shit now, i completely forgot about God and even missed sunday mass (hangover). I regret drinking but i pray to God and tell him I want to make friends. Without being social i feel so sad just all by myself. Help 😭

Sometimes God gives us what we need and not what we want. Maybe you feel alone so then, He can fulfill every small gap in your life. You don’t need friends to be happy, however, God knows you want them, and He will send you just the right ones you need. Keep praying for them. I guess by your message that before you became a Christian you use to drink. My best advice for you is to stop going to places you know will make you fall. And again keep praying. I know that by our own forces we can’t do anything, but God is almighty to do anything, even the things you think are beyond impossible. He will help you and fill you and show you how he is everything you need. (Sorry for the late reply) May God bless your life 💖

Let’s do this! So, sometimes we don’t give the real importance of praying for a nation. Let it be for a hard time they are going through or just for the gospel to reach them, but we barely remember them. Just think about it, when was the last time you pray for a country? What about the church of another country? Okay, when was the last time you pray for your own county? Your own church? For some missioner you hear about? For your own church missioners? For the necessity of a family you don’t even know? Or for the kids at a far village? Prayers can do amazing things! But you need to actually remember to pray about it, and be constant. So, let’s start together, helping each other. For that I has created a new segment in the blog called: THE TRAVELS. Every week we will choose a new county, and all throughout the week we are going to pray for it. By name. For real necessities. When we will reveal the name of the country of the week we are also going to post an entry about the place. It will be a small research “paper” about the cultural information and the most common necessities. And we are going to reblog the post and upload reminders everyday for you to remember to pray. It literally takes 5 minutes of your praying time, and it can do miracles. Literally.
