Day 43 - February 12, 2014
Baby toes....don't you just want to gobble them up!
Day 42 - February 11, 2014
Cold treats.
Day 41 - February 10, 2014
Hiding under the covers (or bed in Brody's case)...sometimes a little R&R is required.
Day 40 - February 9, 2014
Playtime.
Day 39 - February 8, 2014
Accidentally capturing moments such as these: our daughter plotting to take over the world!
Day 38 - February 7, 2014
Pops coming home to spend time with his family.
Day 37 - February 6, 2014
Conversations with Cheech.
Day 36 - February 5, 2014
Six months. We've made it this far and it has been a wild, tiring and amazing ride.
Day 35 - February 4, 2014
We sure are thankful for food in this house...so here is another food post. Solid foods is a big change in our daughter's diet and we look forward to making her food and finding out what she likes (and doesn't like)...even if that means our kitchen will be a mess and our daughter requires a bath after (pretending) to eat her avocados.
Day 34 - February 3, 2014
Teeth. They sure do hurt coming in but they are going to be helpful later.
Day 33 - February 2, 2014
Catching some shut eye on grandpa's lap.
Day 32 - February 1, 2014
My daughter is a great reminder that I shouldn't work too hard.
Day 31 - January 31, 2014
Well, we made it through an entire month in our little experiment. It's been a stressful couple of weeks with the start of tax season (long work hours for me!), changes in child care, some untimely home repair costs, and the never-ending frigid weather. These things remind us more than ever of the things that truly make us smile. Some of the best times we have as a family takes place in the kitchen. Just like this shot above. Both my wife and I are excited for the impending spring time so that we can get outdoors to explore some of those things we are thankful for...
Day 30 - January 30, 2014
Family time is the best time.
Day 29 - January 29, 2014
Her unconditional love.
Day 28 - January 28, 2014
She requires the simpliest of things. Just being next to one of us is enough for her right now.
Day 27 - January 27, 2014
My husband. Not only is he absolutely adorable but he is the best husband I could have asked for (and then some!). And he is an even better father. He isn't afraid to do the laundry, makes a mean pizza and knows when his wife needs a glass of wine. And when he calls me "baby cakes," I can't help but grin from ear to ear.
I couldn't imagine waking up and falling asleep next to any other person. He is the kindest, sweetest and most loving man that I have ever met. I am thankful for all that he is (and who he wants to be) and all that he does for his family. I certainly couldn't do it without him (and I sure as heck don't want to try).
