“If you asked me now who I am, the only answer I could give with any certainty would be my name. For the rest: my loves, my hates, down even to my deepest desires, I can no longer say whether these emotions are my own, or stolen from those I once so desperately wished to be.”
— Evelyn Waugh (via quotemadness)
“You weren’t easy to get, but you’re even harder to forget.”
—
“Those who forget good and evil and seek only to know the facts are more likely to achieve good than those who view the world through the distorting medium of their own desires.”
— Bertrand Russell, Mysticism and Logic
“I don’t know how you are so familiar to me—or why it feels less like I am getting to know you and more as though I am remembering who you are. How every smile, every whisper brings me closer to the impossible conclusion that I have known you before, I have loved you before—in another time, a different place, some other existence.”
— Lang Leav (via lang-leav)
I’m really drunk. Send me love. I need love.
Love. ^_^
Someone: Are you taken? Me: Ya for granted
“The savage in man is never quite eradicated.”
— Henry David Thoreau, Journals
“What do we mean by saying that existence precedes essence? We mean that man first of all exists, encounters himself, surges up in the world-and defines himself afterwards.”
— Jean-Paul Sartre
Drogon mourning with Dany over Jorah was so amazing. Obviously it’s mostly that he feels his mother’s pain and seeks to comfort her but you cannot tell me Drogon did not feel for Jorah too. Jorah was literally the one other constant in his life, there since birth, the man who protected him and his mother. Whose scent he knew like no other, who sometimes carried him across the Red Waste.
So Drogon, in my opinion, was saying goodbye to a man who was an important part of his life.
Jorah knew that Dany didn’t, and would never love him in that way. He knew all of this, accepted it, didn’t try to change it, and he still fought for her and with her. This man did EVERYTHING that he possibly could to get back to her and show her how much he loved and was loyal to her. Point of this post, don’t EVER settle for anything less than this beautiful act of pure love and devotion.
Jorah died not only in Dany’s arms but
a) he saw the wights fall so he must have known the Night King was dead and the day was won
b) knowing how much he meant to her as she wept over him
c) knowing that she, having never held a sword before, took one up and slaughtered the undead to try and protect him
Drogon and Dany mourning Jorah together CATCH ME SOBBING
I will remember you….😭😭😭🖤💙🖤💙
