She looked up at him when he patted her, but a few more tears fell even after. She looked hopeful, but her face fell again when he looked away. “W-Well why don’ you like it?”

A look of pure hatred fell onto his face, clenching his fist he replied, "I jus' don't. No other reason. People are jus'...to happy n' shit." He glared at the ground, clenching his fist harder.

She blinked again and finally the tears poured over her eyes as she cried quietly. She didn’t know what the middle-finger meant yet, but she knew it was bad, She rubbed her eyes with her fists and stopped, turning so she could see him out of the corner of her eye. “B-But… Ch-Christmas isn’t s-sucky!… I-It’s the time wh-where you can make p-people happy….”

He stared at her blankly, keeping his act up. He shrugged, “I don’ care…people don’ gotta be happy…” he huffed again, looking away. “Christmas sucks, nothin’ else to it. Borin’ holiday too.” Alfred really didn’t like Christmas, he couldn’t ever remember a Christmas where he didn’t get angry, or cry. He didn’t see how so many people could be happy on this Holiday.
