Unfortunately, that pit in your stomach won’t go away today. Or tomorrow. Or even the day after. That pit of their absence, will linger. It will linger in the most heartbreaking way. When it’s 2pm and you’re drinking coffee with your friends, when it’s 6pm and you’re at the grocery store buying dinner for one, instead of two. The worst part though, the worst part is at 3am, when you’re alone, and there’s no more distractions. That’s when you realize how alone you really are without them. When you miss their kiss, when you miss their arms around you. That’s when it hurts. When two people love each other but can’t be together because of the circumstance, that’s when it hurts.
