Me watching the Odyssey: wow the way they present Agamemnon is so killer, even if the costuming isn't historically accurate it's still totally sick, I kinda love that he's aura farming in like every scene and the choice to keep him faceless is pretty interesting. The softer tenor-y voice adds another level of intrigue, I'll have to see who it was, I bet it's like a hot, strong unknown making his big break, I mean the rest of the cast is so stacked that it would be cool to have someone new to play such a prominent supporting role.

This is my adaptation of a short excerpt from Maryna and Serhiy Dyachenko's novel "Vita Nostra". Often compared to "The Magicians", "Vita Nostra" is more so an atmospheric metaphysical dark academia novel. It's a favorite of mine because Sasha's love and compulsion to learn is complicated by the violence of the institution. In this part of the book, Sasha's homework assignment to listen to "silence" pushes her past human limits.
