Here Comes a Thought - the Demo

I wrote this song to calm myself down while I was going through a difficult time. 

I was so lucky to have Estelle’s help on this, I drew a lot of inspiration from her advice, and from songs she shared with me that she found calming.

New tattoo by Cats at 2Spirit Tattoos. Also my first

I'm debating about getting a tattoo - how did you decide on where to get yours done?

I googled around for shops in San Francisco and looked at instagrams of artists. Because the design was largely decided by the artist and not me, it was crucial I picked the right person, and looking through Cats work (http://instagram.com/cats_tattoo_) I knew I had found the right person. The thing that were really important for me was incredibly clean line work and Cats specifically has a bunch of work that is really really hard to get right (parallel lines, perfect circles, etc) and would look really bad if even it was slightly off. So I knew she was incredibly confident in her abilities and really damn good at her job. The rest I mostly left to her. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and a lot of describing my general design aesthetic and this is what she came up with

Not quite the finished tattoo, but it's currently covered in wrap so I can't shared the final product for a couple days. We added a little shading to make certain elements pop out but this is all the line work that I got
