Truthfully, it had been too long since Estefania booked the studio. She had taken some dance courses over the spring semester, sure but forgotten were the days when she used to dance for fun. Even if she was helping Kai with a project of his own, it was still something she was looking forward to. As she stretched, she looked up at the clock and laid back on the hardwood, tapping her fingertips on her chest. When she heard the footsteps, she sat up and smiled. “You made it. Hey.”
Kai had tried to book the studio himself, but the whole ‘not being a student’ thing didn’t exactly play out in his favor. For awhile he’d been dancing with a girl named Felicia that he’d met randomly at the gym. She was good, but there wasn’t much chemistry in the dance. Kai quickly got annoyed with her, and was slightly relieved when she had told him she was leaving for L.A. except for the whole partnerless thing.
That’s when he had remembered Estefania. Kai had seen her dance a couple times. Once she said yes, he was really excited to work this piece out. He gathered his things, and headed to the studio. Upon entering, he was relieved to see her already there. Kai cracked a half smile. “Hey.”
