The special bow on Dan's red hoodie | 21.10.18
Dan: I'm very upset.
Phil: Dan is upset.
Dan: We had a fight.
Phil: I'm upset. Everyone is upset.
Dan *sternly*: No, I'm upset.
Phil *fighting a smile*: I'm upset.
Dan: Phil ruined my hoodie.
Phil: I didn't mean to!
Dan: Okay, right, look, so-
Phil *giggling*: We need some dramatic music. Should I play a tiny violin?
Dan: No, no. No this is like the drama music in a reality TV show.
Phil: *hums dramatic music*
Dan: Right, so, I bought this from a Topman and the people at Topman - it was like the one at the front of the shelf and you know how sometimes they'll like roll up the sleeves or put something in the pocket? Like if something on display or at the front of the row, they'll do something to make it look nice. Well, whoever was in this Topman - where were we? Like Singapore or something?
Phil: Yeah.
Dan: They tied it onto a nice bow. They didn't just tie a bow, they did that where it's like-
Phil: Special bow.
Dan: Where you wrap and get the two things together, like the two pieces of string and you wrap it around and then you do a bow and it looked really cool. It was like a really cool-
Phil: They spent three weeks at bow school.
Dan: -and I just thought it looked really nice and I just thought, you know I can stick this in the wash but as long as I don't undo that bow, it's still going to look really nice.
Phil: But today, I just got a temptation! I just saw Dan standing there, with his bow hanging down and I just wanted to pull it! *laughs* So I didn't know the gravitas of the situation-
Dan: Now I didn't see what Phil did. Okay? But I was just, Phil, did you just undo the bow? And then Phil was like what?
Phil: It was like I shot his child or something.
Dan: And I was like- Phil went: No, I haven't undone a bow. And I was like good because if you've undone the thing, I'll genuinely be very upset. And Phil was like: Well, I haven't so it's fine...
Phil *giggles*: Lie!
Dan: Then I walked into the room and it was like that [just the strings hanging loosely].
Phil: I'm sorry! I didn't know how important the bow was!
Dan: And Phil was like: It's okay! I'll do it, I'll fix it! I'll fix it. And I'm like: You don't know literally how to tie your shoelaces-
Phil: Look-
Dan: -nevermind do whatever the hell they did! So Phil was just like, it's okay. I'll tie a normal bow.
Phil: I can do a bow!
Dan: It wasn't a normal bow.
Phil: Look! *tries to tie the bow on Dan's hoodie* It'll be an improvement.
