Fever has died down somewhat and I'm feeling quite a bit better
Anyway, it's Memorial Day which mean's I'm going to be busy sick or not
“Smooth, Rogers.” “I just…I-I tripped!” “Sure you did. Saw something you like?” “No!” “Your blush says otherwise.” “Shut up, Tony.”
Damn, it's late.
Ah, but I’ve gotten home way later. Though…..that doesn’t mean I’m tired as fuck.
Hey… Welcome home.. We should go to bed, yeah?
Yeah…….I really could use some sleep. Especially since I have another long day at the office tomorrow.
[wraps his arms around Tony’s shoulders from behind, pushing him toward the bedroom] I’m exhausted from having this fever…….. I hope I don’t get you sick. [backs off of him but continues walking toward their room]
[sluggishly walks towards the bedroom] Don’t worry, I should be fine.
[immediately walks over to the bed since he’s already in his pajamas, tossing his extra blanket aside and snuggling under the comforter and sheet] Seems like you’ve been extra busy here lately.
Yeah….I guess. [shrugs off his suit coat, hanging it the closet before undressing the rest of his clothing] Just a lot of work to do lately, really.
Mm. [is quiet after that, yawning and closing his eyes]
[eventually slips on his pj pants and sleeveless shirt to help dim the light from his arc reactor before crawling into the bed next to Steve] Night, Steve. [reaches over to turn the lamp off]
'Night, Tony.
Damn, it's late.

Steve was quiet after that, zoned in on the screen. All of the previews were even interesting to the old fashioned man, still not being extremely used to all the new advances in graphics.
Peter settled down into the couch an brought his legs up. He smiled as he watched the previews, he knew his Pop liked them. When the movie hit the main screen he hit play and paid more attention. “You’ll like this one. Lots of action.”
The soldier grinned over at Peter before directing his attention back to the screen. He was soon absorbed and completely silent spare a few lazy comments on how ‘things were very different in his day’ and the way he liked the graphics and acting. He was trying very hard to stay awake, and it was succeeding so far.
Peter laughed at his father’s comments and nodded. ” Yes I’m sure Pop. Yeah I like that to. No that’s done with fake explosions. No he didn’t really..it was a dummy, they shot a dummy.”
The later it got the more the fever and tiredness seemed to be getting to Steve. In fact, he was soon beyond sleepy and into a whole different state of tired to which he though it appropriate to speak and laugh more frequently. He wasn't being loud, just... Giddy.
"Sure looks real.." He stared at the screen in awe, almost like a child, so very intrigued. A part of him would occasionally chime in on his brain in realization of what he was doing and he would settle down again, trying not to get on Peter's nerves. But he was still a bit confused and couldn't resist asking some things. "How do they make it do that..?"

Steve chuckled. "I've heard of it but know nothing about it." He admitted and sank down into the couch with a yawn. "I'm sorry if I fall asleep.. I'll try to stay awake. Having a fever just takes a lot out of you."
Peter shrugged. “Oh..whatever you want. I’m just..bored.” Peter stood up and began to clear the plates. “I just want to watch something with you. Did you have a prefrence?”
Steve sighed. “No.. I haven’t seen any of the.. Y’know, recent films.” The...
Steve smiled at his son. "Well.. Sometimes we watch a movie but it's usually late and I fall asleep. Plus we don't stay in for dates very often." The supersoldier stood and walked toward the living room to take a seat on the couch. "Thanks for cleaning up by the way."

“Sounds good to me, and thanks, Tony.” The soldier raised the glass to the billionaire to show what he was referring his thanks toward before taking a drink. He…

Steve nodded to Tony and grinned when he was kissed on the cheek. “Bye. See you later tonight.”
The blonde was relaxing back in his chair, sitting in a comfortable silence with Peter until he brought up the movie. Steve’s face lit up as much as it could when he was feeling this way and he smiled. “Of course. What did you want to watch?”
Peter shrugged. “Oh..whatever you want. I’m just..bored.” Peter stood up and began to clear the plates. “I just want to watch something with you. Did you have a prefrence?”

Dinner!
thatonebrooklynkid:
“Sounds good to me, and thanks, Tony.” The soldier raised the glass to the billionaire to show what he was referring his thanks toward before taking a drink. He then grabbed a taco and began fixing one up as well until he deemed it fit to eat and took a bite from it.
“Tastes great.” He complimented after swallowing. “You’ll have to cook these for us more often.”
“I don’t mind,” Tony replied reaching out for his own share of food. “I love spicy.” He took a bite into one of the tacos and hummed in satisfaction, giving his son a thumbs up, nearly talking with his mouth full. “Mm….this is delicious, Pete.”
Peter beamed at the compliments and nodded. “You’re welcome..” He bit into his own taco. He was starving and his stomach had been reminding him of that fact since he’d started cooking. Now he eat quickly and happily.
Steve smiled at his son and the way he was soaking up he and Tony's compliments. The tacos really were delicious, but he found himself only able to put away about one and a half before the spiciness decided to disagree with whatever bug he had and it brought back his stomach ache. But it wasn't so bad, he was able to stay at the table with the other two while they ate and he enjoyed just being with them.
Dinner!
nyswebslinger:
Peter smiled and began bringing everything into the dining room. “Can you grab plates Dad?” He asked as he went into the dining room. “And I want a glass of milk I think…please?”
“Sure, no problem,” Tony replied, heading into the kitchen to grab plates for the three of them. He set them on the dinner table afterwards and walked back into the kitchen to grab Peter’s drink with a chuckle. “You think you want milk or you do?” he teased.
“I do. I just was thinking about it before.” Peter replied with a sticking out of his tongue. He went to sit at the one side of the table.
Steve walked into the room still half out of it but hungry, taking is seat at the table near Peter. “Smells good in here..” He really yawned out rather than said and looked over to Tony. “Could you pour me a glass of water please while you’re in there?”
Tony playfully stuck his tongue out right back at his son before turning to the fridge and getting the milk carton out. He filled a tall glass with milk, putting the carton back. He noticed Steve walked in and was glad to see he was feeling a lot better since early afternoon. Without a reply, he filled another glass of water for his husband and walked to the table to hand them their drinks. “Glad to see you’re back on your feet,” he patted Steve’s back before heading back into the kitchen to open up a beer for himself, walking back to sit at the table with his family.
Peter began to reach for the food. “I hope everyone doesn’t mind, but I put the green chilies right into the meat. They aren’t too spicy, but they add flavor.” Peter reached for the fixings now. “And I think it makes the food better with a little spice.”
"Sounds good to me, and thanks, Tony." The soldier raised the glass to the billionaire to show what he was referring his thanks toward before taking a drink. He then grabbed a taco and began fixing one up as well until he deemed it fit to eat and took a bite from it.
