Changes
With kids starting school, I didnt get a chance to post yesterday. But here I am now!!! The 4th of July.... it was one of the most awesome days of our summer. The four of us plus the 6 kids went to the park and saw fireworks together. It was such a lovely night. The kids are pretty well spaced and have fun together. Their oldest (13) not so much haha! But he is a sweetheart. They all are. We spent the day at their house. Hanging out, kids played. Took some fruit and snacks to the park and we all sat down on blankets and cuddled together as we watched fireworks. That's when I knew. In that moment, I knew we were brought together for a reason. That we would have something special with them. For the rest of our lives. It's been a learning experience and we are all exploring and discovering things we had not been able to before. Its been hard at times. Frustrating even. And its so easy to let those negative emotions take you over and you start to panic and feel like everything is falling apart. What helps me overcome that is taking a step back and reassuring myself. -I am loved. By three special people and 6 wonderful kids. -C and D aren't going anywhere. We're not going anywhere -I think about how incredibly happy they all make me and how happy I make them We all have our issues and struggles. We are all human. Things happen and that is OK. We're all in this together and I need to be the best person I can be for them all.
