My opinion on this whole lawsuit tea:
Mars Argo is suing Poppy and Titanic for “COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, COMMON LAW RIGHT OF PUBLICITY, VIOLATION OF CALIFORNIA’S UNFAIR BUSINESS LAWS, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE DAMAGES” Like this is 100% real. And I’m SKDNKSNSKS. What is poppy gonna do??? Mars exposed her everything and it’s all over TMZ and they will have to go on trial because it says “DEMAND FOR JURY TRIAL”. Everyone will know now that she’s not a robot and she’s a person and now people might not like her and won’t buy her merch because they know she is unoriginal and her stuff is being run by the horrible man Thotaniac Shitclair.
Also what if they make poppy stop her project because it’s copyright infringement on Mars’s behalf. There will be no more poppy :( I knew she copied her but I thought it was just a continuation of whatever titanic was doing with Mars. And I was never fond of Titanic he always seemed super aggressive and just sketchy. I had the thought in the back of my mind that he hurt mars but never spoke about it cuz so many poppy fans and mars fans kept making fun of the ones who thought it. I really hope Mars gets her justice for the abuse part 100 percent. But for the copyright, it’s a stretch. Some of them are too exaggerated, like the blue eyeliner and sitting in a chair.
Plus poppy didn’t deliberately do anything in any way. Yes she knew about it, as mars said, but Titanic was the director and told her what to do and say and act like. Plus what if the same stuff is happening to Poppy and she never speaks her true feelings or opinions online because she has to keep her character. Plus she’s very introverted. I fear for Poppy a bit :(
