The First 100.
Wednesday was such a packed day.
Lab is at 8:40 on Busch, so I usually have to get ready to go by 8:10. I just missed the bus by like 5 seconds so I had to wait for a second one but luckily I still managed to get to lab on time.
Based from the lab manual and pre-lab quiz, I thought today’s experiments would be really complicated and time-consuming but it actually turned out to be okay. In fact, to everyone’s dismay, we actually got out about 20+ minutes early!
I made lunch plans with Jihoon for 12:15 because of my usual delayed departure from lab and now found myself with nearly an hour of free time lol. Since I didn’t have any of my things, I ended up working on my lab write-up, which was productive!
When he arrived, we had lunch together at BCC. We disagree on almost everything and our conversation was no different LOL. But still, it’s an endearing kind of disagreement and makes me nostalgic of the many SILENT hours we spent at the library together in sophomore year, when I still studied for school lol.
I hurried back to Livi for my 1:40 class, which I struggled to pay attention through but I was somewhat successful! Little victories.
After class ended, I drove to the bank for a money order, filled up my gas, picked up some drinks (lol), and stopped by the park. The last two errands were rewards for taking care of the first tasks lol. It was pretty chilly, but I like sitting at the bench at Johnson Park and looking over the Raritan. There’s a lot of trash around there which is icky, but something about bodies of water always makes me feel introspective. It was nice to spend some time alone.
Back at the apartment, I had planned to go get my immunization at the clinic being held in the student center but I realized I still never sorted out what the heck is going on with my student health insurance. Le sigh.
Around 7ish, I met up with Rachel and we went to IHOP for dinner! She was one of my small group babies back in the day and I barely get to see her anymore so it was really wonderful to share a meal with her and talk about life.
After I dropped her off, I went over to Sam’s to pray with him before his surgery tomorrow. Shortly after, everyone left for CCF which was on Busch this week, but I ended up feeling too tired to go. I went back to my apartment and went to bed at 11pm like a FREAKING GRANDMA
