“I said, someone replaced all of my ground coffee in the teacher’s lounge with decaf and I find this intrusion into my personal supplies very disconcerting.” Dr. Oobleck frowned.

Oh thank goodness, he won’t be speeding around. But still, he still is speaking rather fast. Perhaps the decaf only affected him a little bit.

“Ah, that does sound bad. Do you want to start an investigation to find the person behind such a heinous crime?” He joked.

“Heinous crime or not, yes, I would appreciate finding the culprit!” Oobleck replied, clearly not in the mood for humor, “This is theft with the purpose of being antagonistic! I suspect that whoever did this has no regard for the property of others!“

Ruby was walking along the sidewalks of the Beacon commons, her cloak blowing slightly in the breeze. A bark came form beside her.  The sliver eyes met the black ones of the corgi who was waving his little nub of a tail in excitement.  

Zwei knew she was gong to throw it. He was just waiting for it to happen. He barked again, asking for Ruby to throw it. He watch ball leave her hand and turned into a gray streak. He bounded off after it.

As Dr. Oobleck strolled through the Commons, deep in thought, the familiar sound of Zwei’s bark brought him back to reality. Further up the path, he spotted Ruby. After a moment’s deliberation, he approached her.

“Good afternoon, Ruby.” Oobleck greeted the student, seeming much more sedate than usual, “How are you and your dog on this fine day?”
