Rachel bit down on her lower lip, to stop herself from blushing.

“I know,” Sam replied with a smile, “I’ve been told I got a nice face and ass too,” the smile on his face grew, and a laugh left his lips. Sam shook his head, taking a lot at his cards, trying to look at Rachel, to figure out what was going on in her head, “yeah, and it’s not only girls, I’ve seen some guys fanboying and that’s kinda cool.” He placed out the three cards for the flop, waiting for people to decide on what to do next.

A soft chuckle left her lips, shaking her head in response. “When you put it like that it’s not really a lose for any of us. We all know what you look like naked anyway. You practically tear your clothes off on stage anyway” she joked. Rachel bit her lower lip, replying with a nod of her head as she thought of what they could play for later. The loser having to strip didn’t sound so exciting. It had to be something more daring but what.

Sam shook his head, “I don’t actually do that,” he replied, “just my shirt on some concerts,” he looked at Rachel, “I’m pretty sure you’ve seen the signs and user names.” Sam smiled at her, he knew that she was joking and it wasn’t the first time he had heard a joke like that and he was sure that it wasn’t going to be the last. “okay,” Sam said, leaning forward as he dealt the cards out.

Relief washed over him as the car left its parking spot. A soft smile played on his lips on the ride back to the hotel because there were definitely worse things to be doing. 

“I think we’re good” he said as he opened the door and hopped off the car. He was happy to be back. “but even if they did, there’s not much they can do now. But I’ll see you later, okay? A short nap sounds really good right now.”

Sam smiled and nodded his head, “yeah, see ya’ before the concert. And napping is great.” A small breath left his lips, and he ran a hand over his head, as he stepped into the elevator.

Yeah, I mean there’s always some gifts. I got a few stuffed animals, and I think there were some other stuff too.

“You obviously don’t know, Kitty, Sammy” Rachel sat back down in her seat. She playfully rolled her eyes in response to playing strip poker later. “I don’t know about that. I wouldn’t want you to lose” she stated in a confident tone. Rachel gave a shrug of her shoulders. “Texas hold ‘em. And if you want to play for something then I’m game. Or we can just play for fun. Up to you”.

A smile played over his lips, “I guess so but then it’s a good thing that I’m getting the chance right now,” he replied looking over at Rachel. “I won’t lose even if I did, I’m abtastic so it’s not really a lose for me.” Sam ran a hand over his head, “and let’s just play for fun for now and we can decide on if we wanna play for something later.”

A small smile spread across Mike’s lips as Sam spoke to the waitress. As she went back inside, Mike was about to make a joke about Sam flirting when he looked around and caught someone’s gaze. It didn’t take long for him to realized what was about to happen.

“Run” he suggested quietly, right before the girl alerted the other fans “Run!”

Doing as he himself suggested, Mike ran to the car and got inside. A sigh passed his lips as he settled inside and closed the door. “I think it’s wiser to go back, yeah”.

It wasn’t his fault, well maybe a little, Sam liked to be nice and sometimes, it kinda went too far so he was closer to flirting.

Sam just followed Mike, running as fast as he could. He was just glad that they managed to get into the car. “Yeah, I wanna survive this, and not have headlines already about how I can’t be on stage on our second concert.”

The ride back to the hotel went a lot smoother than the drive to the diner. “Finally,” Sam said as he stepped out of the car. “Hopefully no one managed to follow.”

Yeah! I’m sure it looked as great as it felt being on stage though.

Yeah, it gotta have been. It was probably one of the best feelings y’know besides having the whole crowd during the first concert in Portland to sing happy birthday.

Yeah. Plus I’d kinda be scared to date someone not in the same business, there would so much insecurities, questioning things and everything, it’s kinda scary. Haha, me either but if tabloids exploit it/my relationship I’ll definitely come right out and admit it.

True but at the same time I feel like it would be good to have someone not in the business. I guess I’m lucky that I’m single.

Mercy: I know your family will be happy to have you there, its harder than I thought being away from my family. They are excited to say they know me.

Sam: Yeah, they will at least the extended one I don't see them as much. And it was nice being in Portland getting to see everyone.

Mercy: I am so glad that he is home and recovering. I am sure seeing you made him feel a lot better. So you both benefited from seeing him. They were so happy, put on a performance and everything.

Sam: Me too. I'm planning on heading to Nashville for a couple of days after the St. Louis show, we got a few days off before Portland. I'm sure they were. Who knows maybe they'll get another chance.

Mike pulled his wallet out of his pocket and left a couple of bills on the table. “Alright, let’s go”. The waitress led them to the back door and all the while, Mike wished there wouldn’t be complications.

Sam smiled and nodded, he followed Mike’s lead. All he could do in that moment was to hope that there wouldn’t be any setbacks like some of the fans figuring out that they were leaving through the back. Sam loved interacting with fans, but there was a time and place, and right now it was bot the wrong place, and the wrong time. Sam turned to the waitress and smiled at her, “thanks and sorry about this.” 

A small breath left his lips as they stepped outside, the car was already there. “Back to the hotel?” Sam asked as he looked at Mike.

“I’m sure they would” he encouraged as he pulled a waiter over and asked for the bill. “I think the most obvious would be samsgirlfriend, samswife, you know, that kind of stuff. Do you find that creepy?”

"I’m gonna think about that,” Sam replied. A small breath left his lips, he hadn’t really paid a lot of attention to screen names, maybe he should do that. “Not really,” he replied, “and you know you got those too like chnagsterswife, or mickeysgirl,” he replied. “I think we can head out, the car should be here soon, and the sooner we get back the sooner everyone’s safe.”
