After a few days of thinking, my new TFC sona, Wisteria(moon), finally comes to light. 🌙
• Later on, I’ll write about her lore and her relationship with the circus members. 🎪
Although she appears young, her species does not age the same way humans do, due to their deep connection to the Moon, which is a key part of their existence.
Extremely curious about human customs.
Struggles to understand evil or cruelty because she was raised with love.
Deeply protective of those she considers family.
Carries an inner sadness from being the last of her species.
Skin cold to the touch, like marble beneath the night sky.
Eyes that glow faintly in the dark (as well as her tongue and saliva).
Dark, night-sky colored hair with shimmering highlights at the tips.
Curved horns inspired by wandering crescent moons.
Luminous markings that appear when she uses her powers.
Silver or deep blue blood.
Pupils that change according to the lunar phases.
Her tears can heal wounds, illnesses, and even spiritual corruption.
The greater the wound she heals, the more exhausted she becomes.
Crying too much can physically weaken her.
Her tears are considered sacred in ancient legends and writings, which led hunters to seek and exploit that power.
Her tears shine like pure liquid crystal… but when she falls into an unstable state, they sometimes mix with other unknown variations.
Her kind were guardians of calmness, dreams, and tides.
They were not violent, only using brute strength when necessary or for survival.
Did Wisteria have parents? Of course she did. But with great pain, they were forced to leave her behind in the mortal world among an inferior species to give her a chance to survive.
Their language is vastly different from that of other monsters; as a child, she was often seen communicating through sign language.
Adoptive Relationship (Human Parents)
They taught her how to cook, read, and coexist with other species.
Her father created a special fabric for her usual clothing to hide her traits from the public.
Her mother taught her how to smile “like a human.”
They celebrate full moon nights together as a family tradition.
Even though they know she is not human, they never treated her differently.
Because of them, she calls Earth “home.”
She learned human emotions before learning about her own powers.
How She Blends in Among Humans
She uses scarves, masks, or artistic makeup to conceal her appearance and traits.
Special lenses change the color of her eyes.
She learned human expressions by observing her parents and others around her.
Sometimes she forgets normal behaviors because her nature is not entirely human.
She does not understand why humans fear the dark.
She can stare at the Moon for hours without realizing it.
Her species eats large amounts of food, especially meat from unfamiliar species, and can go without hunger until the next lunar phase shift (or an eclipse).
She fears being left alone again.
She hides her tears because she knows the danger they represent, causing her to suppress her emotions heavily.
She feels guilty for surviving while her species vanished, which left her with severe post-traumatic trauma.
She avoids becoming too attached to people (and other monsters) out of fear of losing them.
Nocturnal animals trust her instinctively.
Lights flicker whenever she becomes emotionally unstable.
Her presence calms nightmares.
During eclipses, her powers change depending on the lunar phases. The Moon itself seems to follow her… even speak to her.
The phrase that represents her the most:
“Although I was born beneath another moon… they taught me what it truly means to have a home.”
