Well well, Charles. I must say for a man in a coma youâre looking quite invigored.Â
To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?
Luckily for me, I feel like I'd be needing that energy right now.Â
Before I answer that, I would like to mention that you look extremely like an old friend of mine, but you are not. Who are you really?

Raven? That caught Alisonâs attention. Of course, there were other people in the world named Raven, other women, surely. It was not necessarily the same Raven. It could not be. Mystique? No, Alison told herself, itâs just because I know Raven Darkholme, and I automatically jump to her when I hear âRavenâ. I do the same with Jean, Emma, and Scott.
âWe all call you Professor X,â Alison admitted, somewhat⌠shy? At the very least, bashful. âYou always let us pick our own codenamesâ now I see why.â
Now, the hard part. âWeâre good as a family. The first time I did this, it⌠didnât work out so well. But, with Kurt, itâs different. He plays with our son and itâs amazing. I could watch them all day.â Alison pulled out her phone, showing Charles a picture of Kurt and the eight month old baby boy. âWe, uhm. We named him Charles Anthony Stefan. Sometimes he gets called Cas for short, for his initials. Anthony for his godfather, Stefan for Kurtâs foster-brother, and Charles forâ for you.â
âI know this is probably a lot, but youâve done so much for us. I know you donât remember any of it because for you, it hasnât happened yet, but⌠for us, this was the best home we ever had. Because of you.â
"Ah, so the name Professor X will stick around in the future, I assume. And yes, it is Raven that you are thinking of. I'm sorry. I didn't really mean to read your mind but-" He shrugged, letting out a little smile and slightly lifted his brow.Â
"Well, everything worked out at the end eventually. That's still fantastic. I don't want to sound like a mad man, but your family means a lot. To everything. You are the proof that we are no different from ordinary human beings-"
When Charles heard they have named their son after him, he was overwhelmed with guilt. Though his future self might have helped their family, but he didn't. "Wow. I am honoured but I feel like I don't really deserve this."Â

Hello there. And you are?
Charles Xavier. Itâs a pleasure to meet you. -Offers his hand with a smile-Â
The pleasure is mine Xavier. -Takes his hand and shakes it- Excuse me for being a bit forward but you are very handsome.
Why, thank you and so are you. I can say that's something I don't hear everyday. Mind if I ask you if your mutation is making people's day?Â

⌠Professor?
No. No, itâs not you. It canât be you. Muir Island, and everythingâŚ
Youâre young.Â
And you have hair!
Not exactly a proper professor, but hopefully a soon-to-be, to be honest.Â
Well, I wouldnât really call myself young but yes, I do have hair. Is that a problem?Â
Wait.Â
Dude, you donât know who I am? Me? The icy cold prankster that everyone loves?Â
Prof., you okay?
An icy cold prankster? Itâs quite ironic, isnât it?I always thought someone who loves pranking wouldnât be so cold.Â
And yes, I am perfectly fine and why are you calling me a professor? Isnât this out first time meeting each other?Â
No no no, cold as in ice. Like literal ice. Câmon X. Youâre the one who brought me here in the first place. Remember when Scott broke into jail because I froze someone in a block of ice and freed me, then you quelled an entire riot with your mind? âCause I do and it was freakinâ awesome!
And the reason Iâm calling you Professor is because youâre Charles Xavier, are you not?Â
I quelled an entire riot and helped someone escape their prison sentence? I may be crazy but I don't think I am crazy enough to do that, Mr. Icy-Cold-Prankster. And if I did, no wonder why I refuse to remember it. The memory itself sounds absurd.Â
Yes, I am Charles Xavier but not a professor, yet. Not an actual one at least.Â

âPlease.. Please. Stop.âÂ
Charles covered both sides of his head, desperately trying to block the images that were forming in his head.âI am sorry. I am so sorry but I donât-I am not him. Not the man you know. I may be him, but Iâm not. Please, Jean. Listen to me.â
Jean pulls back instantly when she sense that sheâs hurting him. Throwing herself at him once more she wraps her arms around his shoulders and clings to him desperately. Sheâs put up every mental wall she has and Charles is completely blocked out to her, and she to him. But physically she is shaking and holding him as if she might fall off the face of the earth without him.  âCharlesâŚâŚ..â
"Thank you"
His voice trembled. Charles had just woken up from the coma, which cause some difficulty for him to get used to his telepathic ability and the visions Jean showed him didn't help at all.Â
"I am so sorry. I wish there's something I can do. "Â

âCurrently have a Ph.D. in Genetics, but I donât think I would be fit to sit in a classroom with bunch of kids who only thinks about what the cafeteria is having for lunch. Instead I am thinking of training young mutants. I believe learning how to control powers would help mutants be accepted into societies. Humans wouldnât have to fear our powers if we donât let it control us.â
Charles checked on Mayaâs face, hoping that he had not bored her out. âSorry if I had babbled on for something that you are not interested in but I am a bit passionate about genetic mutations as you can seeâÂ
Maya listened closely, nodding and coming into understanding of what she was actually listening. This seemed like awful being coincidence, yet the Doctor wasnât one to believe in coincidences. So either it was a joke, or something was going on beyond her mindâs reach. âNo, you caught my attention there. Good thing genes are something Iâm also passionate about. Itâs in my lifeâs work, anyway. But young mutants you said. Thatâs fairly interesting. If anything itâs nothing more than a right they have to stand as equals with⌠Well, anyone without that sort of giftâ she smile grew broader despite the growing suspicion.
âPlease, babble more. I actually enjoy itâŚâ a bubbly laughter escaped through her lips, her comment only half teasing.
"Well, to be honest there's not much to talk about anymore. Though I can say I am planning on opening a private school. I have a family mansion in Westchester that I don't really use and I think with a bit of remodelling, it'll make a great school."Â
Charles placed his two fingers on his temple, while smiling back at Maya. At first it wasn't his intension to read her mind, but her interest in genetics had changed his thoughts. "So Doctor Hansen, what is this FutureFarm? I think I would rather hear the answer from you than find out about it myself."Â
Catching Up to Do
Kurt gave a graceful bow from the shoulders, still smiling warmly. He then walked to the living room, and  took a seat across from Charles, the afternoon sunlight pouring in from the large floor-to-ceiling windows of the tower.Â
âOf course, I live here now,â Â he gestured around with his fingers, his yellow eyes shining. âAnd my wife, and son Charles.â Kurt chuckled a little, arching a trademark eyebrow. âWith Tony Stark, whom Iâve already told you about, and a scientist, named Bruce Banner.â
Kurt put his tea to his lips and sipped carefully.Â
âRight now, we are blessed, for it has been quiet. I will speak of what I can, and that is to say, there was recently talk of a mutant registration act.â Kurt pictured that very clearly in his mind. He was no telepath,  but heâd spoken silently with Charles Xavier for years. He was very good at it by now. â . . and thankfully, with the help of the Avengers, and Herr Stark, who let us his motherâs home for yet another school⌠thankfully some of the government is on our side; for mutants, I mean to say. And it is because of this cooperation and trust that this bill was tabled. Indefinatly.â Kurt tried not to look too proud of that.Â
â⌠Which is not to say, there are not still dangers to us. Men are still men, after all. And there are still sentinels out there.â
Kurt pictured those, too, to articulate his point. And what those were.Â
Charles' stared at Kurt until he took a seat across from him.Â
"This place looks like a nice place to live in. I have to say that I am a bit jealous, you see, I spent most of my life living in the family mansion that was like a living nightmare to me." Charles took another look around the room, and nodded in approval and finally laying his eye at the window. "Your wife, little Charles, the inventor's son, and another scientist? Sounds fun. I bet it's always noisy in the morning."Â
When he heard Kurt's mention of possibility of mutant registration act, he lost his taste and just stared down at the cup.Â
"Mutant registration act? You have got to be kidding me." Charles knew it was going to happen someday, the thing he had most dreaded about. He laughed with frustration, shaking his head. "Is keeping our mutations secret not enough for them? We are humans, and yet they treat us differently. Our parents are human, our ancestors are human, and why can't we be considered as one of them? And say if the Act gets passed, and we register. What is going to change then? More mutants to experiment on? That is simply not acceptable-"
He almost laughed at himself. He was ranting on about something that has been solved, and now his rant almost looked stupid. "-Oh. Well, that's a great news but I still do believe we have to be careful of where we use our powers. The Government will most certainly take some advantages of our mutations to start something horrible if possible. But that can change." He smiled, "Well, at least I think we can."
