Me: *relaxing after a long day*
The Mental illness: you’re not working hard enough.
Me: I literally have two jobs and summer classes.
The Mental illness: but you could be doing more.
Me: You got me there.

Lookin' good feelin' blue
Looking at this place, it had been a miracle that he hadn’t noticed. Every little thing had been touched and turned and changed until it felt more than a place to walk through, to sit and watch movies then leave. It had become a home to someone, and it still felt like a home even when that someone had moved on.
The walls rang very silent in their emptiness.
“Jarvis.” He commands and he can feel the air shift, as if JARVIS focusing his eye onto this room changed the currents. “I need to re-paint this room. Get my chrome look back. Order someone reliable, quickly.”
[..Very well, Sir.] There’s a pause. A tiny, miniscopic pause before his A.I. answers. It might not be much and someone else might not have noticed, but the fact that he did not immediately respond is cause for concern. A second for his A.I. to hesistate is a lifetime in which he could run hundreds of parameters and search millions of data. If his artificial intelligence starts second-guessing it’s going to escalate into deliberately refusing sooner or later.
The threat of Skynet is always jokingly thrown at him. He couldn’t let it happen because he overlooked these little tells.
He doesn’t tell JARVIS that he’s done and the air doesn’t calm. He still feels watched, but right now he’s grateful at least someone takes notice.
Suddenly feeling washed-out he turns and walks back into the elevator. He’s in the mood for a drink

And in that moment, I realized I have been playing Dazzler wrong for a year and a half. <3 I thought she just thought she lost the baby.
That's how I've always played her, too. It's what made the most sense considering where she was, and that she wouldn't have even had a proper doctor to help care for her in her pregnancy. I wouldn't say you were playing her wrong, just going with the info you had and making due with what reasoning sounded most realistic. When she was on Mojoworld she was constantly on the run, fighting war without break.
Sometimes with rping/writing fic, you just have to assume or make your own head canon if there's no canon reasoning yet.
Not to mention, it's not like she even knows about what happened, so she could just assume that she lost a baby due to having a body ready for pregnancy, yet no baby.
Or something.
razzle-dazzle-them replied to your post: M!A: Puppy for a week, you still maintain your ice powers and the ability to talk. You and your sweetheart can both be furry little critters.
…You are so CUTE.
Alison! Stop! This is not fair!
So how would you lay the sweet moves on Kitty? ; )
What are you talking about, Alison? Sweet moves? First, I don't need sweet moves to talk to Kitty. She's our teammate! Second, I think Scott has something about interpersonal relationships on the team, right?
Third, do you think she'll fall for that crap?

Stark Tower.
Whoa. Those two had certainly upgraded.
"Hi, I'm here to see Alison Wagner," he informed the woman at the front desk, offering her a wide grin. "Jean Paul Beaubier. She's expecting me."
After ruffling through a large scheduling book, the woman nodded and gestured toward the elevator. "The first one will take you right up, sir." Her tone was not impressed.
Losing the grin to give a nod, Jean Paul made his way to the elevator. Old bat. The doors opened for him as he approached and as soon as they closed behind him, he began the journey up.
Alison had told him that Kurt and Tony Stark were friends now. She hadn't mentioned that they were close enough to be living together until he asked her address. He had no problem with it, however--if he absolutely had to lay eyes on the infamous Mr. Stark while here picking up Ali, then he'd suffer through. Somehow. That trademark smirk and the big baby blues would probably help it along somehow.
When the elevator dings and the doors opened, Jean Paul stepped out into a large, empty, very nice atrium.
"Hello?" he called out, breaking out in an awed smile as he looked at the apartment. He took a few steps in and swept his eyes around. "Ali?"
"Mrs. Wagner will be with you in a moment, sir," came a metallic, automated voice from overhead.
Jean Paul looked up. "Thanks...."
His feet led him to the large, overly expansive windows. The view of the skyline was absolutely breathtaking. Jean Paul could think of a few things he'd do against that glass...
"Okay. I'm impressed."
