Sawyer couldn’t stop smiling as she brushed her nose against his. “Nightmares?” He wasn’t aware she was having any. But he could understand why she would be.
Surprisingly Sawyer had slept better than he had in a long time laying with Sunny. A smile formed on his lips, “I slept pretty good. How about you,love?”
At her admitting he may be right he nodded. Giving her a smile and letting her relax he watched her until he fall asleep himself still having an arm wrapped around her waist. Feeling eyes on him he flickered his eyes open.
“It doesn’t matter if you haven’t been through it yourself or not,love. People around you have had dark things happen and it affects you just as much.” Sawyer said as she cuddled next to him. “Now just rest. I’ll be here just holding you tight.” He reassured her.
Sawyer shook his head at her questions. He wasn’t nervous but worried about her health. He knew she would tell him she was fine but that’s what he said all the time too and he wasn’t. “Worried about you. Don’t tell me you’re fine I know you aren’t and that’s okay.” He admitted to her. “It’s okay not to be okay. I mean especially after everything you have been through.”

Sawyer gave her a smile,glad he was able to talk her into cuddling. He just wished she would be able to fall asleep. “Okay,my love.” He chewed on his bottom lip trying to get his girlfriend comfortable.
Sawyer knew that he was at least part of the problem but he knew a lot of it had to do with Laser. He hadn’t been the same since. He knew how Sunny was she tried to fix everything. “It’ll get better,Sunshine.” He said hoping he was right. “I’m here.Lets Just cuddle for a while,love.” He offered hearing how tired she was and it was then he wondered when the last time was she had a decent amount of sleep.

As Sunny hugged him tightly he tried to hold his grimace back as she hit every bruise on his body. “Wh-What’s wrong?” He questioned her wanting to help her the best he could. “I’m here and you know you can talk to me about anything.” He said pulling out of her embrace slightly to look at her face. He hated to see her cry and he hated it even more to think he might be the cause of it today. He knew on the days he slipped back into old habits it was hard on her and everyone he cared about. “If it is because of me I’m so sorry my love.”

Since Laser had found out about the two of them dating it had made Sawyer fight less,granted he still had his moments where he was weak and last night had been one of those times,he called Sunny and told her about it not trying to upset her but to be honest with her;something that had made their relationship even better. So now he was at her house knowing that because of Laser she was still emotional sometimes. “Hi Mrs. Whittier,I’m here for Sunny.” He said as her mother let him in. “She’s upstairs,Sawyer,go on up.” Sawyer gave a nod and smile before he walked upstairs to his girlfriends room. He was thankful none of his bruises were visible on his face. “Hey,sunshine. Come here.” He said as he walked in her room. They both needed the comfort that seeing each other brought. After all they both lived in a constant state of fear. He could see that she must have been crying at one point before he had gotten there. And wanted nothing more than to make her feel safe. “Hey it’s okay I’m here now.”

Sawyer nodded at her smiling softly as she traced his lips with her fingertips. “Yeah of course.” In actuality he did want to do it for himself but he knew it would also make everyone he cared about happier too. They wouldn’t constantly be worried about him or what he was doing.
Coming clean - Sunny, Laser and Sawyer.
As Sunny babbled Sawyer couldn’t help but laugh at it slightly not to embarrass her but because it was cute and very Sunny. “After everything we just didn’t want to add to it.” He admitted looking at Laser as he reached for Sunny’s hand. “We both just want to do what’s best for you and us,if that makes any sense?”
Coming clean - Sunny, Laser and Sawyer.
Sawyer looked at Sunny and then to Laser. “We haven’t been able to tell you yet.” He said hoping it wasn’t too forward. He knew that Laser was in a fragile state but he hoped that he would be understanding of the situation. “The first time you disappeared we spent time together trying to find you,it just kind of happened.” He stated biting at his lip;trying to gauge his friends emotions.

Sunny was nervous as she sat by laser in the hospital and stared at the clock, Sawyer would be there any minute now and then they would finally tell Laser about their…relationship. IT made her anxious thinking about it, the last thing she wanted to do was to upset laser so not knowing how he would take it was killing her on the inside. Seeing Sawyer though as he walked in did calm her down. She wanted to hug him and kiss him and take his hand but instead she just sat still, knowing it could wait until after they finished telling Laser…

Sawyer was nervous about telling Laser about him and Sunny being together. He had said he would bring some of his mother’s sweets to soften the blow of it but decided against it when he found out the full extent of Laser’s injuries. “Hey guys.” He said entering Lasers room after being shown where it was. He really wanted to give Sunny comfort when he walked in but decided to wait until after Laser knew about them being together. “How are you feeling,Las?”

Sawyer knew that it was wrong what he did and it showed with the look of disappointment on Sunny’s face when he finished. “I didn’t want to keep lying to you.” He closed his eyes when she kissed him. “I’m trying my hardest to be better.” He admitted to her though he knew he would have slip ups.
