Parallels from past and present (Priest Novels drama adaptation)
Guardian: Shen Wei saying Thank You genuinely resulting a smiling Zhao Yunlan
Word of Honor: Playing around and putting something above their head
Unknown the Series: Waiting in the staircase and pulling up to stand
Justice in the Dark: Eating together alone
Love or hate Priest's pseudo-incest trope but I rather prefer them be family than see one of them being married off with random female character in adaptation. I think 我家 wǒ jiā (My) works well in these pairings because it has double meanings like WOH's usage of 知己 zhiji (Soulmate). The wǒ jiā (My) can be used referring to romantic lifetime partner but also to platonic familial figure because the general meaning is My Home/My Family. The usage of wǒ jiā (My) is not about "I own this person" but more like this person is "someone I'm comfortable with, someone I'll always return to, someone I trust deeply, to where I belonged". I think we need this context to appreciate stories written by Priest.
