“ why not? it’s easier that way ——— you get close to people today and they either get eaten by a walker or they just died, ” his eye sight just dropped to his feet as he just folded his arms against his chest. he knew what they said about his dad, a coward but he still went out there. mikey had wish he’d just stay back and stop going out like he promised a few days ago, when he was still alive. “ viv..don’t, “ almost pleading for her to just go back, to leave him alone but the way she just stared at him. warm hazel hue’s just looking into his, mikey just felt a bit of him melt inside. “ ——– i don’t wanna talk about it..if you stay..j-just do what we usually do, “ read, sit for a while, and listen to music. 

‘ well, i can promise you i’m not going anywhere anytime soon. you still got me & it’s hard to ignore me ---- you should know that by now. ’ the brunette understood where the male was coming from ; it was hard to be close with anybody because of the cruel world they now live in & you never know what could happen. a smile curved on her plump pink lips & pressed a gentle kiss to mickey’s forehead before taking a seat on his bed with her legs crossed, her dark hues remaining on him. ‘ i’m fine with that --- as long as i get to pick the music because i’m here to work my magic on you, even if it involves stealing a bottle of vintage wine from deanna’s basement & getting wasted just so i can get you to laugh or smile, but i’d prefer both. ’

“ I’m not much of couch potato, ” she chuckled, nestled into the pillows that supported her back. After getting help from the doctor at hilltop, Maggie and the rest had returned back to Alexandria. She was told precisely to rest, don’t stress out, and recover. “ I have to move or do something, “ her fingers just sliding against the magazine that rested at her side. 

“Hey, I’m only following the DOCTOR’S ORDERS ; if he says you’re on bed rest, you’re on bed rest & if you wanna go sit in the kitchen or on the porch - I’ll carry you around.” Vivienne laughed softly, looking at her best friend before giving her forehead a soft kiss. The brunette always wanted to make sure Maggie was okay & would always be there whenever she needed her, nothing would ever come between the two --- they were ATTACHED at the hip. “Do you need anything ?? Food, water, more magazines ?? Fluff your pillows, get you more blankets ?? ”

Vivienne laughed, playfully pinching his cheek with her free hand before placing a kiss on his lips. “But just think about how many kisses and cuddles you’ll get when I’m done with my shift. It’ll be like I never left.” She joked. “I’ll miss you too, I always do.”

Groaning playfully at his words, a smile formed on her plump pink lips before giving Glenn’s hand a gentle squeeze and stood up slowly. “That sounds perfect, and it’s only for a few hours. You know nothing bad happens when I’m on watch --- nothing gets past me.” She reassured him.

A teasing smile played on her lips as her hand rubbed his back softly. “The shortest I’ll go is my shoulders, I mean it’s better than nothing.” Vivienne had suggested & nodded her head at his question, looking over at him. “We will, my shift is not until later on tonight so we have the rest of the evening together.”
