One of the big things preventing me from identifying as radqueer is just the massive amounts of harassment that happens in the community. For an ideology based entirely in anti-harassment and acceptance of all, I see people harassing each other near daily. It feels like every other day there’s people fighting about something, or harassing someone for something, or just being generally disrespectful. It’s hard to be PLUR in a space that doesn’t let you be PLUR. It’s hard to exist in a space that won’t let you be nuanced and accepting while not pushing your own comfortability or boundaries. And it is especially hard to exist in a space that claims to be anti-harassment while constantly down each others throats.
