I seriously feel like my head is about to explode and I don’t have anyone to talk about it

Feeling sad

Why is it that we get hurt seeking love

And always try again

After every failed attempt

Every time you were waiting for a phone call that didn’t come

Or a message left on read

Feeling that pain in the pit of our stomachs

That sadness taking over our brains from the back of our skull crawling forwards into our eyes

And seeping out of our pores with the gut wrenching feeling that we will never find love

But we forget about the pain

We don’t remember the churning in our stomach, a mix of anger and loneliness and disappointment and despair that once again love fell through our finger like a pile of sand on a beach

Love is warm like the sand and we always seek to find it again even after being torn apart

From our hearts dropping out of our bodies and being smothered by the impending feeling of eternal loneliness

We always forget

Love is an addiction

Like a heroin addict going back for just one more

Thinking that it will be different this time

They’re always found laying on a bathroom floor

Baffled they had fallen for it again

How do we forget the pain?

We believe love will find us eventually

But it never seems to come
