hello, i'm so intrigued about the plot of this story. what i'm imagining from the little i've seen of your blog is that athena island university is a sort of secret college that either welcomes the paranormal and extraterrestrial / extradimensional, or equips humans to study and deal with it. is this the basic premise? what's the main storyline about? who are the main characters?

You described the setting pretty well here.
But I am realizing that I have not really made any posts actually explaining the story (yay school eating all my time and creative energy, someday I will be done with College) so I am gonna jot down what I've got so far and maybe make a less chaotic version of it later.
The Island was discovered in the late 1600s/early 1700s by Spanish Explorers and was named either Isla Sedes Sapientia* or Isla Stella Maris** (I am yet undecided). It is about at the dead center of the bermuda triangle.
Scientists became interested due to the large quantity of strange flora and fauna found there (think like australia/madagascar/new zealand levels of weird animals). Soon the English also had a presence on the Island, calling it Athena Island.
They also found that the plants and animals of the island were not the only strange phenomena. Strange lights danced across the sky, it snowed in summer despite being about 200 miles north of the Tropic of Cancer, one moment the sun would be high in the sky then suddenly it would be night — that sort of thing. With all the chaos of fighting between the Spanish and English it also became hard to keep track of who built what where.
Things eventually calmed, when a benefactor basically paid for the factions to cease hostility in the interest of scientific discovery. A university was founded and still exists to this day. While the Official name eventually became Athena Island (and Athena Island University), the name Isla Sedes Sapientiae/Stella Maris is also still frequently used.
Fast forward to "the modern day". The story starts when Abigail Jones, a highschool student, comes to a summer camp for prospective students. She was invited by a member of the university staffwho cam e to her school for a college fair, based off of her high performance in certain academic areas. She doesn't know anything about the Island's inherent strangeness, other than it's odd location, but boy is she about to.
As the story progresses she, and the friends she makes long the way, are thrown from one weird interdimensional adventure to the next. While the Island serves as a home base, they find themselves in all sorts of different universes (each which I hope to be able to depict in a different art style), from a futuristic version of London, to the magical forests of the Fae Realm, a trip inside of one of Abby's favorite fantasy novels (if I can manage to write the as of now nonexistent text for said novel), a gritty scifi lab where humanity played god and lost, and a lot of other vague ideas and plot bunnies I have hopping around in my brain.
Besides Abby/Bea the main cast of characters include: Felicity, Tahlia, Jane, Rita, Mena, Dayton (yes she's the only one who I reffer to by her last name), Jim, Jack, Luna, and several more recurring people who I am right now too tired to list.
(since I don't have character profiles for most of them, I linked what comes up when you search their names on my blog cause I am horrible at keeping my tags consistent {I keep switching between saying "____ core" and "_____ vibes" rip my attempts at consistency})
Some of these characters are from the first book, but there are several we don't meet til book two, after which they never leave.

literally just start posting about your OCs. you don’t even have to “properly” introduce them just make them a dedicated tag, tag them on posts that remind you of them, and then start talking about them like everyone’s supposed to already know who they are. i am not joking when i say this method works.
