All system littles deserve respect and autonomy. There are littles who are like bodily children, littles who are not like bodily children, and littles who are somewhere in-between or have a more complicated situation than that. No one is the ultimate authority on All Littles Ever and no one gets to decide how All Littles Ever should be treated/interacted with. To do so completely takes away littles' autonomy and requires quite a lot of disrespect towards them. Often, this also requires insulting their systems, acting like systems who do respect their littles but don't have littles that fit a particular mold are committing some immoral act. It's ridiculous and rude, to say the least; all systems are different and just because something doesn't work for your littles does not mean the same is true for for all littles. Listen to and respect littles, including in regards to how they want to be treated. Stop treating littles like a monolith.

for all of our lives so many autistic people are told they don't play, or they play wrong, because they play differently. some regressors feel like they lost their ability to play, but when youre told since you were actually little that how you play "isnt play" that may not be the case. Play can be--

brushing a doll's hair or changing their clothes

sorting blocks or other toys into categories

touching a toy and taking in its sight, feel, sounds, smells

lining things up

taking things apart and putting them back together

moving toys around without a story involved

autistic play is still play, "abnormal" play is still play, as long as youre having safe fun, its play!!♡♡
