When I was a kid, I had a plastic wicker basket full of bouncy balls. My favorite thing to do was tumble the box down the stairs and watch them bounce all over our white tile floor. You blog makes me remember that.

Now THAT is a good pastime. If you ever find yourself with the means to do it again it would make for a pretty magnificent slow-mo video.

Last month was super busy with concerts, rehearsals, and traveling, but now I can finally post the balls that arrived during that time!

Bonus points if anybody can tell me who or what the little figure is in the green ball, because I don’t know. But my friends named them Paprikon, inspired by a Russian listing of these balls that calls them that. That must be a pepper the little character is holding.

Apologies if this has been asked n answered before, but do you display the bouncing balls in your house? I use candle stick holders to put my orbs on

You’re the first to ask this! A few years ago I tried to display the balls in shadow boxes, but it didn’t really work out. It was difficult to position them, only the small ones could fit, and I couldn’t access them to look at and play with. So while it looked cool, I ultimately decided against it.

Right now I keep the balls in bins: One for the rubber balls and one for everyone else. Some balls are also on display in designated areas around the apartment.

The candlestick holder idea sounds absolutely adorable. 🟣
