If you haven’t seen the Despecialized editions of the original Star Wars trilogy WHAT ARE U DOING, GO DO THAT!!! Basically, if you buy really any version of the original trilogy, it’ll be the Special Editions with the stuff added later by George Lucas, and not what was originally played in theaters in the 70′s/80′s (there are some exceptions, but bottom line is that it’s hard to get your hands on the original original products). So, some amazing person on the forum originaltrilogy.com named Harmy went through a very arduous process to undo what Lucas added in the Special Editions and he successfully restored the original versions! He painstakingly gathered together as many original sources as he could to piece it all together as it was in the original release, really an astonishing process! I downloaded the first one and watched it, HIGHLY recommend it, it’s the only way I can watch the original trilogy now. Currently downloading Empire Strikes Back and then Return of the Jedi. I’m super pumped!
