I met up with some Montréal friends visiting Toronto for a conference for sushi at KoJa Restaurant in Liberty Village. Their sushi creations are not dishes that would bring purists joy, but the purple rice they use is definitely something worth trying (if not at least photographing, look at all the contrasting colours!). The presentation is also very meticulous and interesting: huge sushi boats and bonsai tree plate decoration. Food quality is also not bad, albeit the saucing is a bit too liberal and intense at times.
