Katze is gone for almost a week now and feels like too long. She's buried in a small forest which belongs to very good friends, so she will rest there forever. It's a very peaceful place. There's a stream and the birds singing and the wind in the trees and the sun playing with shadows. She would have liked it there and for us it's a nice place to go to and just be there. We miss her.

Missing her so much. After 18 years of being together, it seems impossible to be separated. Every time we hear a crack or some noise we think it's her but it's not. Every morning I get up I want to look for her but she's gone. I know we did the right thing, it was really time to let her go, but still it doesn't make the loss easier. Thank you all for your kind words full of love. I'm glad I started this IG account 4,5 years ago, so now I have this collection of pictures and videos and all those nice comments. It warms my heart that Katze not only found her way into my heart but also in so many more. Who could have thought of that when I got into the goat barn as an 11-y/o to get the kitty I always wanted.
