Aurora smiled at the little girl that she was assisting, very carefully balancing between using her magic to awe the child into not crying as well as making the medicines to give to her mother to help cure the child of the illness that she fell under. She was a sucker for children, so when she heard the young mother trying to hush the sick child Aurora was the first to ask if she needed assistance.

Leo had been helping all over today and he was ready to call it a day when he noticed this odd woman helping a mother and her child. She looked like she had her hands full and he was willing to help.  The medic walked up and set his medicine bag down gently. “Would you like some assitance? I’m a trained doctor.”  He gave a gentle smile after he spoke kneeling down to help keep the childs attention

He relented as he finished dressing her wound. “You know I worry, beginning to get pretty used to seeing you around.” He chuckled as he reached into his bag to pull out the usual pain killers he gave to her, they were mild at best nothing to numb the pain just ease it.

“Well I suggest staying the night, to much movement will just open it up. I’ve got a spare room and I’ll treat you to dinner how’s that sound?” He looked to her after closing up his medical bag, a soft smile was on his face but his eyes had that worry in them, like evertime he watched her come in with a new injury.

Leo looked down at Poppy kinda confused, but he put his arms around her and squeezed lightly. “H-hey Poppy you, alright?” He asked as he looked down to her.

Weird Al:

1. Is very cautious about the effect of his works, apologizing whenever he does something even a tiny bit offensive on accident.

2. Asks for permission from the creators of the songs he parodies, even though he legally doesn’t have to.

3.  Is a straight-up genius; he skipped two grades and graduated at 16 the valedictorian of his class.  He went to CalTech.

4.  Is often upset by the fact that any parody of any song is usually mistakenly attributed to him, espeically the dirty ones because he’s careful to keep his music safe for all ages.

5.  Is a genuine A+ human being, 10/10 would recommend.

Leo chuckled as she laid down on his sofa, she was like a stray cat he brought in. excitable and curious about everything. “Well… is the month that the Harrowing starts and for some reason it affects me in a weird way probably because of my metal bits.” He said and scratched his head. 

He would talk as he made his way over to her and leaned his elbows on the back of the couch. “The past few years it’s change my body and I get a little… Batty is a term I could use.”

“Well I do go out it’s not something too uncommon, but I usually need someone to be a guide or it takes me forever to get somewhere.” He looked down to her as she held his hand.

“Unfortunately it should be happening anytime soon, I’m actually surprised I haven’t changed yet.” He slipped his hand away from hers, so he could walk around the couch and sat down next to her.

Seraanith pulled her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She rested her chin on hers knees, musing over what Leo told her. Maybe.. just maybe.. she could take advantage of this? And be able to walk around this place without having to sneak around in the shadows..

Her tail lifted up slowly, the flat side of the forked end patting the top of Leo’s head. “Delays happen-” she tilted her head- “.. Do you.. think it’d be possible for me to walk around with you when it happens?”

“Oh definitely most people will just think you had a transformation, honestly this is the only time i can walk the streets too, i try to stay to back roads most of the time.” His eyes looked up at the tail gently bouncing on his head.

He looked out the window and saw the dark green and black mist running against his window and let out a defeated sigh. “Well its here, see?” Leo pointed to the window as he spoke.

When Leo pointed at the window, one set of Seraanith’s eyes moved to look out while the other remained focused on him. As he stated, there was the mist, passing through. How curious.

All four eyes now focused on Leo. She smiled. “Don’t worry, I’ll help you around once your sight is gone-” she paused- “Although, we’d probably still get lost. I’m not familiar with this place, ha ha ha~!”

“Well as long as you can describe where we are, I can tell you where to go.” He said as the fog crept through cracks in the window seal. It swarmed around him swallow his form completely sheilding it from view.

It swirled around him for a moment before twisting away and back out of the window, leaving the medic changed from what he usually was. Small wings protruded from his back black fur across his face and skin little ears poked from his hair that constantly moved. “Yaaaay harrowing…” he said sarcastically.

“I can do that~” It sounded easy enough. Plus, she wouldn’t have to hide! Her tail wagged around with excitement.

Then, the darkin watched as the fog engulfed Leo and altered his appearance. And.. oh! Batty he was, indeed! Seraanith reached out and caressed his wings. Small! A pair of eyes focused on Leo’s ears. She touched them. “Cute..!”

His ears flicked around her fingers and he let ou a long sigh. Serra wa now just a pink blur and he couldn’t tellhow close or far she was anymore from sight alone.

“H-hey they are ticklish...” Leo mumbled still a little shy of his new form he didn’t like, it was so hard to get anything done like this. “They also help me get around.

Aurora gasped soft at the answer, her eyes already tearing up as she held her large pregnant tummy with one hand. “Of course I will, you silly man.” She choked up.

“I know I worry about you alot but lately this pregnancy has been bad on your body…. Im thinking about taking you to the hospital tonight…” he said as he starred into her mismatched eyes.

“I don’t think that they can help the fact that the little one is taking my energy, love. My fire is feeding them and keeping them strong, the more they grow, the more of my energy they require. I will be fine but I am pretty sure that they are being a bit greedy before joining us on the outside world.” She said with a soft sigh and leaned into the hand on her cheek.

“But if you wish to take me in early I will not argue, my love.”

He rubbed her cheek with his thumb. “I love you.” He said softly and kissed her forehead. “Well why don’t I get that bag I packed up and we can go after you relax a bit. I’ll carry you there.” Leo rested his forehead on hers, he a fear of losing her during this, but he wasn’t going to voice it.

“Even if it’s just sitting with me but you need it hunny.” He said his eyes starring into hers, there was more of a professional look in his eyes he was saying it more as a doctor than as her partner.

Aurora seemed to think for a moment before she nodded, accepting his hand and standing up on shaky legs. She was too tired to argue now so she would just go along with his orders. “Yes sir, I’ll do as the good doctor tells me for now.” She mumbled teasingly, a hand on her tummy as usual.
