I personally think that it was fine. The pacing never felt weird, and ngl I think filler would've made the show worse. Filler is meant to be content you can skip over without losing the plot, and every second in TADC is a must-watch because it's all important to the story. Adding filler would just disrupt the flow of the narrative. I'm not saying that filler is bad; I'm just saying that for to-the-point stories like TADC where every moment contributes to the overall story, filler doesn't work.

Unfortunately It was a bit to the point in my opinion. Caine revived that dog guy. What... What happens to the dog guy... does he abstract again? where does he go... did he ever see kinger again...

And even Caine. How is he alive again... we saw him get deleted. what is this.

The indie animation community is so hostile towards criticism, treating all of it like personal attacks and the people criticizing as if they're "anti-indie." We shouldn't hold animated indie shows to lower standards just because they're indie; if anything, writers should meet the same writing standards as professional shows do. You can critique indie shows and still very much love and support them.

People need to quit treating indie creators like they're "soft babies" who need to be shielded from criticism. A vital part of being a creator is learning to accept criticism and recognizing that you can improve in certain areas so your next story can be better.

I try not to fall into the "I never liked their work anyway" ditch when an artist/creator reveals themself to be a terrible person

BUT

a feeling I do have and will stand by is "While I enjoyed their work overall I did have some gripes that I overlooked out of affection and whimsy, but now that my loyalty is gone and my affection tainted there is nothing holding me back from enumerating my many grievances, to which the revelations of the creator's shittiness may or may not provide a new and infuriating context."
