Wait what happened with taemin?????
Okay, so I have not been personally involved in the situation so I’m just restating what I’ve gathered so far, and please take it with a grain of salt, because we don’t know how much of this is true or how much has been omitted or changed trough translations and sharing the same information between lots of people.
So, last night his japanese online fan meeting got cancelled very last minute and some staff said on stream in japanese, that it had to be cancelled due to ‘serious’ reasons (note that someone on twitter said that ‘serious’ could also be translated as ‘important’ or ‘pressing’) and that they would give more information later and apologized.
Since then there’s been radio silence, but SHINee’s official accounts have been posting as usual (older photos though, Taemin’s hair is still long in those).
It could be literally anything, maybe it doesn’t even have to do with him, maybe it was technical issues, who knows, but of course given the trauma that a lot of us carry from 2017 and how worried we’ve been for Taemin in the past few weeks (upcoming enlistment seems to affect his mental health, he’s not eating much, overworking himself etc) of course there’s a decent amount of anxiety among Shawols.
Of course most of us understand that we’re not entitled to what might be personal information and it might not be SM’s place or the right time to say anything but many Shawols have been asking here, on twitter and under recent Insta posts to please at least let us know if he and the other members are okay.
