Christopher wasn't looking for a relationship, nor did he want to be tied down in one any time soon. The last time he tried to get seriously involved with a girl, it didn't end too well. The boy knew he wasn't cut out for a lifestyle demanding commitment. It wouldn't be fair to drag Ava into a mess that probably contained heartbreak; that wasn't right of him to do. If he had the audacity, he would've stolen a kiss right then and there, but Chris kept himself in control. If he came off too strongly, he would easily scare the girl away.
