Pt.10 or so of Ryland grace doll , I painted the inner box with a basic galaxy and remembered to add his scar from Rocky

Wasn’t feeling confident enough in my paint skills to do anything more than a galaxy

Box mockup for my Ryland Grace doll, thoughts?

It’s just gonna be an overlay on the og box, I’ve used my shitty photoshop skills to the best of my ability. More accessories will be added, also his glasses are in the bottom of the box somewhere they just fell off

Ryland grace doll Day 7, actually did something today other than work on it so not much got done, but he did get his quilt and I started reassembling his box

Turns out Rocky is a little bit too wide to fit comfortably in the og box arrangement

Pt 6 ish. Of my Ryland grace doll shenanigans, he’s nearly done and work on Simon will begin next week

I hope I made him adequately scruffy

Did minor tweaks to his face up, didn’t touch his eyes but I did fix his eyebrows I singed off with a flatiron. I also recolored his lips and blushed his cheeks to something rosier and gave him his beard scruff due to the very adamant nagging of my friend. His shoes got weathered and I painted the soles, before the paint job they were solid white vinyl. I also found out I could print on fabric with a laser printer so Ryland will be getting his Quilt

Day 4 and 5 of the Ryland grace custom doll saga

Made his flight suit and a couple t-shirts, I’m actually quite proud about the quality of his flight suit, I’d hate to make it human size.

The patches are HTV that I painted with acrylics and then doubled up for thickness so the corduroy’s wales didn’t show through. I also learned that a glue stick is my best friend because I can baste stuff down even when it’s super tiny.

Since he is a man his pants pockets are of course more functional than mine lol probably gonna start working on Simon next week
