Last month my little sister visited me. She set quietly and when I asked her what happened, she busted out crying and told me about all the ill-treatments she is tired of, from her friends and siblings. Being physically challenged and unable to stand up and defend her, I felt helpless. I decided to deal with her mind. I know it may sound as a sign of weakness, and maybe it is, but that is how I have dealt with many wars directed to me. Me: Thubelihle, when an older person, child and family member do or say something make you angry, always remember that those are the outcomes of hate they carry inside, but not who they are. Some people will hate you for what you have done, what you didn't and for simple being alive. You don't have to respond with hate too, because that creates wars. I know how short tampered you are sometimes, and that you can beat people 5 years above down to your age. But responding physically will live you with permanent scars and put you in jail, then how will you become Miss Universe or a pilot that you want to be? (She began laughing) If you are still angry with them come to me, we watch movies and do homework, until you forget about them. If you see that they are starting to make you a laughing stock, live them alone then see who will they laugh at. But if they beat you, report them to elders. Sooner they will get tired of that and realize how beautiful you are inside and outside. Most of all, even though people may hate you, it doesn't mean that they must to die, what if they were going to change in future? If you wish to see everyone who made you angry dead, well also expects me too dead and you living alone in the world, because people make mistakes all the time.
