This year we decided to fill in our swales with good stuff: chicken and rabbit manure, food scraps, plant matter and straw. This is why you might not want to throw spaghetti squash seeds into a cold compost...

#Chickweed is a common early Spring "weed" around these parts. A couple of years ago I learned it's edible (and really good for you) and makes a great pesto. This year I finally tried it. So yummy!
