After Action Report – 20 Dec 632 - NARAD Father Winterveil Patrol
On the evening of 20 Dec 632, on/around 2030 hours, a voluntary group of personnel from the 47th Infantry Regiment, assisted the Gnomish Air Force with one of their operations.
Lead by myself, Champion Keladry Brightmaul, we worked in tandem with Commander Amelia Battlehart (Wing Commander – Northern Azerothian Aerospace Defence Command (NARAD)), Major Krillos Thunderbrake (Squadron Commander – 133rd Fighter Squadron, Captain Sparklethrottle – 133rd Fighter Squadron and Captain Steelwing – 133rd Fighter Squadron.
The volunteer mission was a sortie that departed from the Ironforge Airfield, and took us into the air space of Alterac, Northern Lordaeron and Arathi, to protect Father Winterveil as he arrived at his lodge point deep in the Alteraci mountains.
The voluntary force divided into flight teams for the sortie; G1 – MAJ Thunderbrake, Cadet Goldmane, RCT Cerulethal and PVT Sunveil; G2 – CAPT Sparklethrottle, Cadet Hempstead, RCT Moonkeg and PVT Josephson; G3 – CAPT Steelwing, KCP Brightmaul, and PVT Ryvsirra. In G-280’s, we patrolled over the region, engaging only in the elementals discovered in the skies.
Note: The Gnomish Air Force had pre-established a Memorandum of Understanding with Silvermoon City in which it was agreed neither side would engage the other during routine flight operations.
As we completed our loop of the northern skies, we were blessed enough to have the opportunity to escort Father Winterveil into the Alteraci mountains so that he could land and prepare himself for his days ahead. Upon his safe landing, we returned to the Ironforge Airfield for a quick debrief before the troops were dismissed.
Respectfully,
K. Brightmaul, KCP 3 XO

DRACTHYR
Soldiers of the 47th Infantry Regiment,
Recently, a race of creatures that are dragon-like in appearance have begun showing up all across Azeroth. These are the Dracthyr. They are not an imminent threat and Lord Commander Turalyon has given his blessing to open up citizenship and military service to those Dracthyr that wish to take advantage.
Should you have any questions on this matter, I encourage you to bring it up with your CoC.

After Action Report - 02 NOV 629
AAR 02 NOV 629. On the night of November 2nd, 629, at 2130 hours, a patrol, led by Cadet Marsulu Goldmane, was undertaken in Duskwood following reports of undead. The patrol included SGT Nyla Vermillion, CPL Honstire, CPL Moogie Mixwidget, CPL Lorraine Lancet, CPL Voldigar Warbringer, PVT Lorrayne Silverlake, PVT Brokos Braxton, and RCT Arradyr Westkin. Staring from Raven hill the patrol made it about 1 km before encountering a disturbance in the road. The patrol investigated the scene and found what seemed like a pool of blood, a severed forearm, a black runebkade, wisps of blue ectoplasm, and dragging marks. Upon inspection these items were abnormal, each being made of candy. The blood pool was noted to be syrup, the arm was made of caramel, the ecoplasm some sort of cotton candy, and the runeblade of black licorice. The sword was recovered by CPL Honstire and will be sent for further study on its composition. After investigating the area, the patrol headed north where they were attacked by undead composed of candy like substances. Three caramel ghouls and one blue spirit were noted and eliminated with light, non-life threatening injuries sustained. Proceeding further into the forest, the source of the undead was apparently found. A lich that was also made of a candy like substance was encountered and was in the process of opening a door. This door was not connected to anything apparent, as it was placed in the middle of a field. The patrol engaged the lich and sustained moderate injuries. No phylactery was found. Once the lich was discorporiated, the door opened to reveal a void creature attempting to make an incursion into Azeroth. The patrol engaged and was able to drive the creature back into voidspace, after which the door melted into the approximation of blackberry jam. It is noted that other creatures and doors were seen in this voidspace, and it is advised that another incursion is possible. Heavy injuries were sustained, of note myself, and CPLs Moogie Mixwidget, Honstire, and Voldigar Warbringer. Upon CPL Honstire's recommendation, I radioed in a portal evac to the Cathedral. All those who were on patrol sustained light to severe injuries, and have been admitted to the Cathedral's Medical Ward. Some of the patrol was put under the brief influence of the void being, as well as most of the patrol received wounds inflicted by undead. As such I am recommending all soldiers undergo standard testing for both Void and Plague exposure. For his actions in ensuring the safety and well-being of the patrol, I am recommending CPL Honstire the Physician's Medal.
For without him, the patrol would have fatalities instead of just injured.
Respectfully Submitted, Cadet Marsulu Goldmane

After Action Report – 24OCT629
On the evening on/around 24 Oct 629, a small support contingent consisting of MAR Edain, CDR Felmourn, KCN Sparrowmind, KNT Brightmaul, MSG Goldmane, SGT Vermillion, CPL Honstire, CPL Lancet, PVT Winterbreeze, PVT Ban, and myself proceeded onto a patrol beyond the confines of FOB FLAME. The objective of the evening was to raid the “palace” (location determined from a device captured 5OCT629), and locate the last of the missing personnel, Ryder Vermillion and Aeaces.
Proceeding south, the patrol wound through the canyons until reaching the site of the palace, which lay at the very edges of the plane we found ourselves on. Further imagery will be attached to this briefing, specifically classified for Marshal Edain’s eyes only. The palace site was not particularly big, but intelligence gathered by CPL Lancet indicated that the building felt almost alive – as if there was a living energy inside the stone. Whether this was actually the power of Aeaces, or something more, I am still unsure, but it did not do harm to our people so I will tentatively assume that it was the former calling for aid. A quick recce of the Palace conducted by CDR Felmourn, MSG Goldmane, CPL Lancet and PVT Winterbreeze originally indicated that there were no hostiles on location. This information was unfortunately incorrect, for as soon as all four were within the confines of the Palace, they became trapped, and the target Ten’Vira revealed themselves to 47th personnel. The recce party came under heavy fire for the duration of about ten minutes and held while the remainder attempted to rendezvous.
With SGT Vermillion and KNT Brightmaul’s determination, all 47th personnel were able to rendezvous with the recce party and enter the field of combat. Shortly after entering combat, Ten’Vira withdrew and entered “the rift” , which after a quick decision was made, all personnel followed them through. Personnel reported suffering minor dizziness upon exiting the rift, but nothing that would permanently harm them. As they exited to a different part of the palace, Ten’Vira again attacked, this time with a strange warp defence system, which had been rigged to another being. When this being fell, so did the warp systems, and again Ten’Vira used the rift to attempt an escape. It was in this second room that 47th personnel discovered the body of Ryder Vermillion, an unfortunate casualty of this training exercise.
It was in the third room that the hostile Ten’Vira was ultimately taken down by PVT Winterbreeze. Upon their “death” we discovered that a phylactery had been carefully stored in the floor. It spoke to CDR Felmourn and proceeded to advise him to break the seal. As he did so, the being Aeaces appeared out of the phylactery, appearing unharmed and safe, a miracle given his capture. He was pleased to have been rescued by the 47th, and held no ill will towards any person of the Regiment. CDR Felmourn has graciously leant his assistance in escorting the being to Icecrown for a short period.
Following our withdraw from the palace, it was demolished with the helpful addition of explosives, which MSG Goldmane carefully hand selected for our mission. Her attention to detail as always, remains impeccable.
Respectfully, K. Brightmaul, KCN 3XO

AAR - 13 OCT 629
After Action Report-13OCT629
Information received from the device captured during Champion Brightmaul's patrol of 5OCT629 revealed locations for a "stockyard" and a "palace." As the 'living' hostages were reported as potential slaves, I determined to attack the "stockyard" in an attempt to rescue said hostages. The "stockyard" was positioned in a camp guarded by a narrow pass. Given that this was the only entry to the camp, stealth was impossible, and orders were to hit hard and drive through the enemies to reach the civilian prisoners.
It should be noted that this plan was high-risk, and Champion Brightmaul rightfully expressed some concern over that risk prior to execution of the plan. Prior to embarking, I reiterated that this mission was for volunteers only. A direct frontal assault on a chokepoint is never pretty, and the risks were apparent to all. No soldier determined to opt out.
We launched our attack on the pass. Initial enemy elements were quickly overwhelmed, which allowed 1BN to pass through the narrow pass and into the enemy camp.
Upon entry to the camp, we managed to locate the hostages being held in a small outdoor stockade with one entrance. Upon the alarm being raised in the camp, elements of the enemy launched an assault on that stockade, presumably to either terminate or relocate the hostages contained therein.
Sergeant Major Dymphna Hempstead and Lady Petra Farnal placed themselves, unarmed and unarmored, between the attackers and the other hostages. SGM Hempstead has severely wounded and fevered even prior to this, and yet placed herself between the children and the attackers. This action likely saved the lives of Steward Bubo and civilians Tony Hezekiel, Angie Hezekiel, and Lily Edain.
1BN proceeded to assault, clearing a path towards the stockade. 1BN was heavily pressed. Notably, Champion Brightmaul was severely wounded in this assault. Knight Brightmaul led the rearguard, while Corporals Hezekiel and Davenport assaulted the group attacking the stockade to aid Lady Farnal and SGM Hempstead. Knight Brightmaul managed to temporarily revive Champion Brightmaul, who immediately expended her remaining energy in a massive effort of healing. It should be noted that there are four soldiers and Lady Farnal who would not have survived this battle absent Champion Brightmaul's actions in doing so. A defensive line was established at the stockade while the rearguard patrol fell in. During the course of this defense, SGM Hempstead, Corporal Davenport, and Lady Farnal were all critically wounded.
As the rearguard patrol fell in, portal evacuation procedures began. All personnel evacuated through my portal back to FOB Flame. Enemy elements attempted to portal towards us to continue the attack, however it would appear that recent modifications to our warding structure have rendered them incapable of doing so. Several portal attempts were detected--none successful.
1BN managed to rescue the following hostages:
- SGM Hempstead - Lady Petra Farnal - Steward Bubo - Tony Hezekiel - Angie Hezekiel - Lily Edain Still unaccounted for are the following: - Kyrian Aeces - Ryder Vermillion
I am recommending the following awards:
Medallion of the Alliance SGM Dymphna Hempstead.
SGM Hempstead had no arms, no armor, and was severely wounded and diseased prior to this battle. She stood in the doorway of the stockade, fending off a well-armed enemy element alongside Lady Farnal, to buy time for 1BN's rescue to succeed. Steward Bubo, Tony Hezekiel, Angie Hezekiel, and Lily Edain are currently safe because of the selfless and courageous action of SGM Hempstead. This recommendation should be reviewed by other personnel, as I am personally involved with SGM Hempstead, but I believe her actions merit at least this award.
Royal Red Cross KCN Keledry Brightmaul
KCN Brightmaul, while severely wounded, saved the lives of multiple soldiers (including myself). I can confidently report that without her heroic actions in expending the last of her energy, this battle would have failed, costing us the majority of 1BN as well as the hostages. She sustained severe injuries while doing so.
King's Cross CPL Prestor Davenport KCN Keledry Brightmaul SGM Dymphna Hempstead These three soldiers sustained critical injuries during the course of this battle In addition, I request that this report be forwarded to civilian authorities for consideration on appropriate commendations for Lady Farnal. As she is my mother, this request should of course be reviewed by a neutral authority.

After Action Report – 5OCT629
Soldiers from 1BN were summoned to FOB FLAME for an exploratory patrol into the lands surrounding the FOB. The objective of the patrol was to determine whether or not the FOB remained in safe location, that there were no further immediate incursions into our safe zone, and lastly, whether or not we could find any clues that would lead us to our lost. The patrol, consisting of CDR Felmourn, KCN Brightmaul, MSG Goldmane, SGT Vermillion, CPL Honstire, PVT Boombeard, PVT Winterbreeze, RCT Emberpower and RCT Josephson quickly began our foray into the wilderness of this in-between.
During our patrol, we came across a ridge which myself and both SGT’s came to the swift agreement seemed like a sound place for a patrol to be caught unawares at. With SGT Vermillion’s decision, a forward scouting party consisting of CDR Felmourn, SGT Vermillion and RCT Emberpower was dispatched under an invisibility spell powered by RCT Emberpower to investigate. They did happen upon a small group of Brokers who were ecstatically discussing the ‘living’ that resided at Ten’Vira’s prison. They were heard stating, ‘The discs would show them the way’, and that ‘the warp held their rewards’. It can be assumed that the living they referred to are the lost that we seek. A decision was rendered, after they were also heard discussing what to do with the living once they traded the warp-discs to Ten’Vira, to immediately exterminate the Brokers before they could act on impulses I shall not put to word.
In our possession, following the fight, we have the warp-discs. Based on a loose understanding of their cultish phrases, it can also be assumed that the discs are a map of sorts. Of what kind, I am not aware at this time. RCT Emberpower has warded them in the meantime until KCP Farnal can investigate.
Respectfully,
K. Brightmaul, KCN 3 XO

Assets from 1BN were summoned to the center of FOB Flame at approximately 1900 for a standard perimeter check in accordance with standing orders given during this “training exercise.” Such personnel included KCN Sparrowmind, KLT Sundershade, MSG Goldmane, CPLs Lancet and Honstire, PVT Raboute, and RCTs Josephson, Ban, Burroughs, and Blackwood.
During initial briefings for the aforementioned perimeter check, arcane warding around the FOB overseen by KLT Farnal and Regiment arcanists appeared to be temporarily disabled by “training company” assets, allowing entry via teleportation to 16 “infantrymen”, and two large mechanical beings, similar in appearance, hereafter referred to as Sentinels. All enemy assets were appropriately neutralized, with RCT Blackwood and MSG Goldmane receiving significant injury during this exercise. One “infantryman” was able to escape.
Two additional enemy assets appeared after a “training” landmine was detenated by a mist up, injuring myself and multiple others. Information gathered denoted that these enemy assets were known as “Ten’jai”, a spell slinger, and “Ten’zio”, an assassin. During the battle with these assets, PVT Raboute was knocked unconscious. “Ten’jai” was neutralized, and “Ten’zio” dropped a training anima bomb, which detonated and obfuscated the view of the immediate area while injuring CPL Honstire.
“Ten’zio” subsequently escaped, covered by the explosion while he accessed the prisoners’ cells. He “tagged them out,” as well as the guards stationed at that location to watch over them, before presumably fleeing the FOB.
For injuries sustained during a “training exercise” and commendable honor in defending fellow soldiers, I recommend PVT Raboute and RCT Blackwood for the King’s Cross. All other injured soldiers, including myself, were taken to medical by PVT Josephson and CPL Lancet. I recommend them for the Commendation for Valour, given their valiant service and rapid, appropriate action in the absence of orders to ensure the continued health of their fellow troops. In acting swiftly to ensure the health and safety of our infantry, KLT Sundershade and CPL Honstire placed themselves willingly into the line of fire to perform their duties, against all odds, potentially saving lives at the risk of their own. I recommend them both for the Physician’s Medal.

AAR 29 SEPTEMBER 629
At roughly 1830 hours, troops assembled at FOB Torch for portal assault training. Portal assaults are, by their nature, difficult. Commander Felmourne led the first wave of the assault along with Knight Brightmaul, Corporal Davenport, and retired Sergeant Major Addenbrook, who is participating in these exercises as a civilian advisor. Upon passing through the portal, the first wave discovered a number of training soldiers as well as Additional training targets posing as laborers. The first wave launched their assault immediately.
As the second wave of the assault entered the scene, a squad of training mages opened fire on them from an elevated position. These were led by a Lieutenant. SGM(retired) Addenbrook charged and subdued the Lieutenant, at which time the Laborer stand-ins abandoned the field and began to flee.
Private L'angelle then used a large-scale magical attack to completely neutralize the disengaged laborer stand-ins. Were this not a training exercise, this would need further investigation. However, given the particular nature of this training exercise, no discipline was given at this time.
The training commander responded at this time and was taken into custody by Master Sergeant Goldmane. For purposes of the large-scale training mission, we now have two "captives" in command position. The commander will be going by the pseudonym "Ten'Pah," and the Lieutenant "Ten'Swai." The troops secured the area around the portal exit and began establishing FOB Flame as a foothold in the training battlefield. Further scouting to determine the objective locations will be required. Also, SGM(Retired) Addenbrook is being placed in charge of "interrogating" the "prisoners." KLT Tobias Farnal 1A1

Around 2000hrs, I called the troops for the overnight watch training. In attendance was Master Sergeant Goldmane, Corporal Honstire, Privates Davenport, Brightfeather, Boombeard, Cor'ahni, L'angelle, and Recruit Steelsong. Briefed on their task, we set to work.
Initially tasked on moving some crates to the watch point, all was going well. However, it wasn't long until the troops noticed the enemy training unit approaching. The surprise ambushers from the training unit were apprehended. At this point, small wounds were tended to. Another wave of a much larger surprise training unit incurred a heavier injury to MSG Goldmane. This unit was apprehended as well.
Those in need of medical tending have been sent to the medical tent at FOB Torch.

After Action Report
On the evening of 20 SEPT, at approximately 2000hrs, I called to meeting volunteers for our Special Training Deployment. In attendance were Marshal Edain, Knight Brightmaul, Master Sergeant Goldmane, Sergeant Vermillion, Corporal Honstire, Privates Cor'ahni, and Brightfeather, and Recruits Josephson, Silversong, Ban, and Steelsong. Joining us on this excursion was the former Sergeant Major Thomas Addenbrooke.
SGT Goldmane was able to triangulate the location of our training site trough use of intelligence gathered over the course of the last few weeks; discovering our destination to be in the Twilight Grove region of Duskwood. We made our way to our training site. There, we were met with resistance from the training unit. Through tenacity and keen applications of frost magic from Private Cor'ahni, we managed to route the training unit forces, who were noticeably superior in number and having had the advantage of spotting our approach; and secure our special training objective. Sergeant Vermillion was tasked to oversee the construction of our F.O.B for the remainder of this Special Training Deployment.
Marshal Edain has seen fit to recommend Private Cor'ahni for special recognition for her vital role in last night's melee. No serious injuries were sustained thanks in no small part to the quick applications of both healing magics and practical field first-aid applied by the Marshal, Corporal Honstire, and new Recruit Silversong.

EMERGENCY BRIEFING
All 47th IR Personnel are requested to convene at the House of MAR Edain in Cindervale on the evening of 12 SEP 629 for a dinner and briefing about an upcoming training mission.

After Action Report - 26 AUG, 629 Side Op: Moby Duck
At approximately 19:30 hours, the 47th Regiment arrived in Westbrook Garrison, where they were tasked by a Sergeant O'Hearn from the 87th Regiment to clear out a group of wildlife that have become tainted with extreme amounts of arcane energy. A secondary objective was also laid out to find any survivors of a previous mission of 87th soldiers.
The troops, consisting of KNT Brightmaul, SGM Hempstead, MSG Goldmane, SGT Vermillion, CPL Hesekiel, PVT, Cor'ahni, PVT Nightstalker, RCT L'angelle, RCT Raboute were tasked with investigation and is need be, removal of the affected wildlife. The group, led by MSG Goldmane, set off eastward where they encountered what was the remains of the 87th troops. From the magic and actions shown by the effected wildlife show evidence the troops were forcibly turned into the common Mallard duck, where they were then dispatched. There were no signs of survivors.
After investigating the area, the troops encountered the affected wildlife directly, where an opportunity for a surprise attack was presented. All affected wildlife was eliminated, with non-life-threatening injuries sustained by the troops. After ascertaining the situation was resolved, the troops who were injured were dismissed to medical to receive medical treatment.
