Thinking its odd that you're only occasionally looking up at his performance, but then right back to a notebook in you lap D: Is his performance not good enough?

So of course he steals it the moment he gets a chance, just to see what captured your attention so thoroughly...

and oh. oh my gosh. Its pages upon pages of drawings of HER. Drawings of his performances, drawings of him posing, perhaps even imagining her in different outfits, or perhaps if you were already dating, suggestive drawings? 👀

Just an absolute ode to his beauty!

Oh Mot would be tearing up on the spot. You've decided to make her? Your muse? If he didn't have better restraint over himself he'd be hunting you down to kiss you silly that instant. She loves you she loves you she loves you she loves you. He is so honored you decided to make him your muse.

Mot would most certainly find and go through your sketchbooks far before you two become an item, he's curious about your hobbies! But seeing you draw her in all the poses she struck during her act... it would only spur on his need to be at the center of your attention at all times.

She'll start, very intentionally, striking poses during her act and staying in them a second longer than normal if you have your sketchbook out while visiting her. He'll get very excited over the prospect of you spending as long as you can - hours even, if you could - studying him so you could get him just right. The idea of your eyes sweeping over every inch of her, paying special attention to all the little details, that you even try to stare at her as much as she stares at you... oh you've got him swooning all over again.

And if you start drawing more suggestive things of her once you're together? Well... don't be surprised by a sudden wave of deja vu in bed if he starts doing something you could have sworn you've drawn before... ;)

Moonrot Ref Sheet + Introduction

THE BIG GUY IS FINALLY DONE !!

I made sure to make/include refs i think would be most useful to everybody. We have the colored ref (1), blank ref (3), body type ref (4) and mask ref (2).

Introduction

Here is our main man Mot!! (Pronounced "Moe") he's the first clown you encounter from the new circus in town, he's a little mischievous and odd sometimes... but he seems nice enough! He loves nothing more than spending time with you and trying to get you to laugh! Just whatever you do, don't take your eyes off him.

Moonrot takes the place of Pierrot in this au.

Height: 7'3" (220cm)

Species: lizard monster human

Body type: plush

Occupation: aerial dancer (trapeze, silks, etc.) And contortionism

Likes: you, sleep, watching you sleep, sunbathing

Dislikes: Sunquin, losing you, scaring you, you meeting their leader

So as you can obviously tell some major changes have been made to Mot's design. Now he has no regular pants nor shoes - with them instead being replaced by tights (that are far more loose near the top for public decency reasons) with extra padding in the feet that double as the sole of a shoe. He's got ruffles around his ankles now, removed the extra layer he had on his torso so he wouldn't be cluttered/wouldn't cause issues while he is preforming. There's now a little v cut at the center of his chest (cleavage window hehehe), and his longer sleeves replaced with longer gloves. Removed the third part to his hat, and simplified his mask by a ton.

And the only other notable change is in his performance at the circus. Taking inspiration from Moon's hook, Mot now does aerial performances! But he does still dabble in some morbid physical comedy.

Afraid I don't have the capacity to be purposefully mean to anyone, but if you don't mind, I'd love to ask you some questions about the AU!

So, I know Moonrot is the main focus of the AU, but we haven't really seen much of the others, and we only have a name for one! Which is Harlequin Sun or Sunquin. Starting off with him, is there anything you have for him? Personality, lore, etc.

And I looked through your posts really quick and saw that the other 3 would also be DCA's. Does that mean we will have at least one Eclipse? I know there is the Ruin Eclipse and the Arcade Eclipse (or basically the fanon one), so would there be one or two Eclipses in the circus? Then who would be the other(s)?

Feel free to only partially answer my ask or not even answer at all if you don't want to give all the information or just haven't thought of it yet.

About Sunquin:

Sunquin will be one of the leads to the au - a love rival to Moonrot, just as you would expect! And he's the biggest prick in the circus. Incredibly egotistical, loud and attention-needy, and he is always prone to a tantrum if he doesn't get what he wants. He's a real prissy prince, if you know what I mean.

He's also not beneath flirting to get what he wants! Although he's the pushy-flirty type, so watch out.

About the rest of the cast:

I won't say too much about them just yet, since all of this is still fresh, but. Both Eclipses are utilized in the au, yes.

As to who the third is, and whose taking what role - I'll let you all theorize amongst yourselves

Not that i think this needs to be said, but quick psa about the au.

I am a pretty indecisive person - and the au itself is still very very fresh. So previously stated facts about it have the possibility of changing at any moment!

I am not bothered by the same questions being asked over again in the slightest - and the conversation helps me develop things further, honestly!

I love receiving asks about the au, since talking about it helps me figure stuff out about it further!

Any and all kinds of questions are allowed - sfw and nsfw, I am excited by all!
