the-good-knockout:
The mention of Unicron has Teal frowning deeply. He didn’t like Unicron….at all. Nothing good came from that particular being. “They do realize Unicron can, has, and will possess the mind and frame of some mecha, yes?” Still, the punishment Barricade spoke of…
“How bad was it that they locked you away? And…forgive me, did you say they made you a grave digger for life!? I mean…they give you such a twisted task and expect what? Total compliance? That’s insane. I can’t blame you for leaving. I- That’s-“. Teal gave a sigh. “Where are you now? Have you found a safe place to lay low for a time? So the Autobots won’t find you?”
“I tried to say the same, but….they didn’t believe me.” he sighed.
“I killed 16…never to my knowledge. I never knew I was doing it. I spent a long time in a box…and then was released to a desolate land to tend to the dead…with hardly anyone to talk to. It’s been….miserable.” Barricade added on. “I escaped just barely. I’ve just been sort of wandering from hiding spot to hiding spot”
Teal was momentarily reluctant to show understand toward the Autobots, a stubbornness that latched hold then released just as quickly. “It’s probably difficult for them to except that truth....not without full understanding or watching a possession take place.”
“16!?” Sixteen!? That wasn’t remotely defendable. “16!?” He repeated, shocked. “Barricade...”. Not many ways to offer comfort in such a bleak situation. “I still think their punishment is on the cruel side.” He paused. “How safe are you?” He wasn’t sure if offering refuge would be wise. Unicron taking possession and running a muck on the ship could be chaos. It could endanger his own safety.
