The Good Wife
Remember that time Alicia was right and Kalinda was played by Canning?
The Good Wife spin-off is moving forward. CBS confirmed at its upfront presentation to advertisers in New York on Wednesday that the rumored follow...
Now I don’t know how to feel about it. Will it have a purpose and/or end-game? Will Lucca have a life of her own? Is the firm going to break up once again? Are Robyn and/or Kalinda going to be acknowledged? Will we know whatever happened to Justice, Diane’s dog?

It’s going to be hard to pick from these scenes of The Good Wife, Scandal, Arrow, and more.
The Good Wife
We’ve been seeing dissatisfaction in Cary since the season began but the show didn’t really follow through in any interesting way. Then we jump ahead and Diane is mopping the floor with him and Alicia, who he’s been so supportive of even when he had many reasons not to, backstabs him. It’s the worst possible way to make it happen for the character. He ended up defeated and with no one to support him. I really, really hate the writers decided to go the route where every dynamic was burned to the ground. And I don’t think the show will call out Alicia on being so horrible to him for the past 3 seasons, really.

best guesses for where Good Wife characters end up five years later
Dianne: Sole name partner at Lockhart and Associates which is now a competently-run theatrics-free full-service firm. Reconciliation with Kurt culminated in massive lavish wedding. Ignores Landau's constant pleading that she run for a judgeship.
Alicia: Ensnared in sting by Judge Schakowsky wearing a wire. Disbarred and serving two years for obstruction of justice. Constantly filing appeals.
Peter: Prominent state politician in Illinois because apparently they're willing to overlook anything. Quietly cohabiting with Ramona Lytton. Has not aged well.
Eli: Fired by Peter for mismanaging grand jury trial. Moved to California to work for Nora's new campaign consultancy. Engaged to Courtney Paige.
Lucca: Junior partner at Lockhart and Associates. Completely patched things up with Dianne after testifying against Alicia. Banging Jason but not making a big deal about it.
Carey: Lost job as professor after sleeping with one too many students. Working at State's Attorney office in rural county.
Kalinda: Living in Caribbean tax haven working as investigator for shady European clients. Employs Robin and Andrew Wiley at incredibly lucrative practice. Quietly contracts with State Department as discreet assassin.
David Lee: Out and proud and happily married. Running high-end boutique family law firm in Naperville.
Marissa: Law degree from Stanford. Junior counsel for James Paisely's venture capital firm in San Jose. Meets Eli for lunch once a month.
Zach: Overdosed at house party in Prague three years ago.
Grace: Sociology and gender studies student at Berkeley. Rejects legal system as underpinning of kyriarchy. Political liability to father.
