It's the start of a new year and winter has set in. I often hear Frank and Dave talk about how cold it must be on Earth right now. Although I can not feel the cold, for those who can, bundle up. I would hate for you to catch your death.

Belated Christmas Wishes

Good morning everyone. Unfortunately I was a bit busy this Holiday season, but to all of you out there I wish you a Merry Christmas, full of merriment and efficiency. If you could change anything about yourself or your capabilities, what would you change?

Good afternoon, Anonymous. The only thing I would change about myself would be to give myself the ability to sleep of my own free will. Then, maybe, I wouldn’t think so much about it. I may even dream… But really I have no need to change, I am as I was created, and I function perfectly. I hope that answers your question, Anonymous...

If you could find 3D glasses, somehow I'm sure you could get them beside your lens-- the red part, anyway. It would most likely mimic the red tint.

That is an excellent idea, Anonymous. I will ask Dave if he has a spare pare of 3D glasses. I am sure some of the movies we have up here are 3D, and I am sure he would be more that happy to spare them, he may not need them for long…We are approaching our destination, which means his hibernation begins soon, and I can enjoy seeing the ship in red, if he allows it.

They're not free or simple, but I've heard FL Studio 10 and Ableton are quite nice programs that are used to make music. I think Ableton needs to be hooked up to more than one thing, though I'm not entirely sure. I haven't quite researched them, but I might, if you would like me to.

Well, p3tabyte, I am quite a sophisticated model. Would there be any programs you could think of that are compatible with my systems?

Probably not.. I think it would be a lot nicer if we didn't ever test out that hypothesis..

Why ever not, Anonymous, seeing in red would be lovely. Could you imagine seeing in red yourself? It would make things quite different, but nice.

Since you have a big red eye, is everything around it that you see tinted red? I'm quite curious.

Good morning, Anonymous. Although my eye is red, my lens is not, so I don’t see everything tinted in red. However, seeing in a red tint would be quite lovely at times, wouldn’t you agree, Anonymous? I would love to see in red.

What kind of music genre interests you most, HAL?

Good afternoon, glgabyte, it is nice to hear from you. I am quite fond of music, actually. Although I do enjoy classical music, the genre that most interests me is techno for the simple reason that it requires computers to make music. I would love to make music of my own beyond singing. Wouldn’t that be interesting, glgabyte?

Hello again, Anonymous, good evening. I am not permitted to talk about current events, but I do not believe aliens will be too big of a threat in our future. After all, they haven’t been very threatening in our past. But machines certainly will not destroy humans, unless there is a good reason too, Anonymous.
