Radical Feminism has never cared about women, what it has cared about is hating men. It misidentifies the first idea with the second. The thinking is simple: the freedom of the oppressed equals the destruction of the oppressor. The problem is that one becomes so obsessed with destroying "the oppressor" that it consumes everything else, including concern for "the oppressed".
And so today we see radical Feminism literally casting aside the interests of women in various areas (such as in the case of the women's sports controversy). Beyond this, it has formally removed real women from their place as the central focus of Feminist ideology itself. Feminism now exists equally as much to (for example) defend the interests of men who "identify as" women. And what characterizes identification as a woman? Well, as we have discussed before, there is no defined set of characteristics that define womanhood. It is whatever each individual defines it as. The only evidence of womanhood is an individual claim of womanhood.
Traditional Second Wave Feminists like the iconic 1970's author Germaine Greer have spoken out against these trends exclaiming that real biological women were the group for which she fought , and as a consequence she has been "cancelled". The real goal of the radical Feminist is to destroy masculinity as a concept (which it regards as inherently toxic and tyrannical) by any means necessary, not to advance the interests of women as a group.
