List of sins that God will damn you for in the Hebrew Bible
none
literally none
damnation is not a concept in the Hebrew Scriptures
»Judaism has no word for sin. […] Judaism has the concept of חטא chet. Although it is sometimes conveniently but incorrectly translated as sin, chet means to ›miss the mark‹ – to be heading for the ›bull’s-eye‹ of moral and ethical behavior but to veer off course, to make a mistake. The Jewish ›bull’s-eye‹ is the proper observance of the mitzvot – the ethical and ritual commands of God. So chet means to ›transgress the mitzvot‹ , to fail to correctly or completely fulfill God’s precepts and commandments. The Hebrew word for repentance is תשובה t’shuvah, which means ›to return‹ – to come back to the path leading to the ›bull’s-eye‹ of following God’s commands.«
– Rabbi Wayne D. Dosick: Living Judaism. The Complete Guide to Jewish Belief, Tradition, and Practice
http://www.aish.com/h/hh/gar/atonement/48954551.html? “This is the idea of teshuva. Teshuva literally means “return.” When we “do teshuva,” we examine our ways, identify those areas where we are losing ground, and “return” to our own previous state of spiritual purity. And in the process, we “return” to our connection with the Almighty as well.
The process of teshuva involves the following four steps:
Step 1 - Regret. Realize the extent of the damage and feel sincere regret.
Step 2 - Cessation. Immediately stop the harmful action.
Step 3 - Confession. Articulate the mistake and ask for forgiveness.
Step 4 - Resolution. Make a firm commitment not to repeat it in the future.“
“How should we feel upon recognizing a mistake? Should we feel guilty, worthless and bad? No! “Guilt” is the negative emotion saying that “I am bad.” Whereas “regret” is the positive acknowledgement that while my essence remains pure, I have failed to live up to my potential.“

i think that men approach women with an act. literally all the time. and i think it’s not until they’ve either gotten what they wanted from you or a fair amount of time passes before that act starts to dissolve and you get to see what type of man you’re really talking to. which is why i don’t even consider trusting a man until i see what he’s like when he stops telling me what it is he thinks i’d like to hear. not even a little bit.
he might be nice to you, sure. maybe he compliments you a lot. gives you a lot of attention. that’s all fine and good, but what is he like when he’s angry about something? when the two of you disagree? when you aren’t available for him whenever he’d like you to be? when you deny him of something he asks of you? what then? for me that’s what i always pay the most attention to. there’s no shortage of men who would find me beautiful and say so. there are countless men who would be willing to give me the kind of romantic attention that i may be interested in. i need to know what’s beyond all of that. how does he handle his anger? does he know how to communicate effectively? does he make you feel as though you owe him something in exchange for his attention? i know so many girls who talk to men, think theyre nice or whatever, and then however many days or weeks later he flips like a switch and he’s awful. that’s not the fault of women, but it’s a big part of the reason why i never approach relationships with men recklessly. because once they stop telling you what they think you wanna hear or doing things they think will impress you, their true colors really start to show. and no offense? not to be rude? they’re usually not worth it sticking around to see it. that’s just how i approach it 🤷🏻♀️
During the “infatuation period”, which is that period of time usually lasting a few weeks to a few months, a man will show you “his representative”. This is the person that he wants you to think of him as. He’ll tell you everything you want to hear, and he’ll try to butter you up to get you to like him more and more. You can’t believe this person. Challenge a man, ask him questions, ask his intentions, ask him things that he can honestly work on as a person. Never believe a person who only speaks good things of themselves. Never date a person who makes themselves seem perfect. Also, when a man tells you something that sounds like a red flag, BELIEVE HIM. Don’t overlook the red flags, when people tell you things like that you gotta take it for the truth. Don’t look past things because he’s attractive or telling you things that sounds good. You have to be wise in every decision that you make when it comes to relationships. Just save yourself the time, effort, energy, and your feelings
They butter you up to make it easier for you to look past terrible flaws when they finally rise to the surface later. It’s a trick that’s easy for any woman to fall for, because once you grow attached any man knows it’s easier for them to get away with a lot more.
Women must learn to manage their egos. Men use us by exchanging sweet words for our silence. They’ll feed your ego till shes nice and plump and the second they can start fucking up they’ll do it. Thats why you must feed yourself. Feed yourself validation and belong and worth and love and joy and beauty and commitment and value. Do not go hungry and desparate waiting for someone to tell you what you must tell yourself

hey, that’s me! thank you for at least crediting me and linking back to my twitter, but in the future please ask before reposting my art. generally my answer will be no, even with credit. i was waiting to include this image in a post collecting more of my star trek fan art, but it feels a little redundant to do that now.

And in a shocking twist, Elon Musk has not kept his word on helping Flint residents afford water filters
You know what? I have a lot of followers. If I could get a list of contacts for people who need filters I bet I could wrangle enough donations to pay for them
Okay! I have a plan! Here is the link to the Flint Water Fund by United Way: bit.ly/FlintStrong
It 100% goes towards buying bottled water for residents. The government has cut off aid to us and these charities are all we have.
I do have one request though! On the page provided it asks for your affiliation (if you have one) and if you guys could put ‘kaijuno’ in that box, it will help me know how much money you guys have raised!
Please consider donating if you can 💜

The deep-pocketed NRA claims it’s going broke and may soon “be unable to exist” — and blames Gov. Andrew Cuomo for its purported poverty, according to a recent court document that’s part of its law…
