I’ve picked up a bit of Python recently and I’m thinking of switching over to to it. It’s a lot more dynamic, for one, and it’s actually object-oriented, for another. Java felt very unwieldy in comparison somehow. Don't even get me started on how C needs to be spoon fed. Although Python is usually a command line language, there are ways to compile it into an executable, and I’m optimistic that it will work out.

Depending on your clearance level, you will get access to different files. The contents of those files may also change with clearance. Once again, these are just placeholder files. Galahad and Lancelot files will probably be accessible even with the lowest clearance. I’m still not decided on how many clearance levels to create.

Hey, this is frostedgoddess from AO3. I'm still super pumped to help you out, I hereby volunteer as a beta if you ever need one and I can Photoshop you some banners, any sizes needed?

Oh my. Yes please, and thank you very much. I’m not quite sure about banner sizes since I haven’t even gotten to the point where I can start to think of packaging, but maybe we could start with making the blog look a bit less like a laser show? (I’m better at illustration than graphic design, you see, although that’s not saying much.) But only if designing banners (and icons?) for tumblr blogs might be of interest to you, of course.

As for beta-testing, I will be sure to make known on the blog if/when beta-testing becomes available. I probably won’t be looking for too many beta-testers (perhaps 10 at most, since I will be doing a lot of beta-testing myself), so in the meantime, I shall keep in mind that I ought to contact you first before opening up to everyone else.

Screenshots of a preliminary user interface that makes use of a user’s OS’ command prompt/terminal. The mail names are just place holders until a plot can be finalised, although short messages have been written (also as placeholders) in order to test the programme’s ability to transition from one folder to the next. This part is moving smoothly thus far.

Pressing ‘h’ or ‘H’ at any time at all should bring up the help menu. Although most commands are case-sensitive, the most important ones (e.g. exit, help) will not be.
