I’m still alive, I really am. I’ve been incredibly busy teaching tiny humans, teaching adults humans, advocating for the rights of tiny humans and their families, learning how to better serve my community, learning how to better support and advocate for diverse communities in my city/province/country, learning how to advocate for people who identify as women throughout the world and sleeping (sometimes and not as much I would like to). I’d like to introduce you to Jiggs. This week she found her forever home and joined our family. We named her after one of my favourite characters from children’s literature, Jillian Jiggs. For me, Jillian Jiggs represented adventurous, playful, risk taking and I hope that Jiggs (who is quite shy and had a bit of a rough start at life) will be inspired to confidently and joyfully explore the world around her.
