December 17 stalks the heels. Goodbye tumblings. It's been a blast.

December 17 - nuclear implosion.

So, from 17 December Adult Blogs are going to be removed from tumblr. This is Verizon finally kicking the tumblr (freedom) concept into space and thereby breaking the tumblr promise. Verizon's reasoned expositon is total nonsense. The real reason is that Verizon is Apple's slave. The only way that tumblr could get back on AppleStore was to take this drastic step. Who cares about Applestore? Not me, neither should tumblr care. This is ridiculous. Goodbye tumblings :-(

Just a little reminder to the idiots out there

Rule #1 is - before you follow a blog visit a person's blog page and read anything written there that might exclude you. In the particular case of this blog you will probably be excluded if: - your blog has no title - your blog's avatar is a generic geometric tumblr default thing. and definitely if: - your blog has no content - your blog is just a conduit to a pay-site or an escort agency (etc). Please don't waste my time by following me only to be blocked (aka excluded).

So, tumblr is, by it's own admission, glitching. That's OK because by the time I get back from out of tumblr town the problem will probably have been resolved. See you in December tumblings.

No posts today

Sorry, no posts today (again). I stare (again) at images of wonder but can think of no words from which to create a relevant caption. The muse is begone from a shoulder. With luck (as before) this is temporary.

There is a problem

I say "If your blog has no content you will be blocked". A recent problem is that quite often a follower (in the followers area) with content shows up as a follower with no content. I do not have time to check whether every new follower does or does not have content. If tumblr towrs tells me "NO CONTENT" I believe it. If you think you may not be getting the follow backs you deserve and undeserved blockings ask tumblr.

For crying out loud

[Edited 12 November] For crying out loud people. If you expect me to follow your gif-ridden or multi-image series posts, think carefully. Following me under such circumstances may very well be a complete waste of time because not only will there be no (or very brief) re-follow but, if I’m in a very bad mood, due to wading through “followers” whose blogs have absolutey no content, you might be blocked (because I get lazily trigger happy). Check the “Gifs and Photosets” part of the about thing. Some followers have taken the time (via messaging) to point out that their blog is sort of not all gifs and sort of not all photosets. Not a single one of those *thinking* tumblings has been blocked, though only a few have been followed. This is a social and community platform so just communicaate. Simples innit.
