My Ben Hwa headcanons!
- Ben Hwa to me is on the aroace spectrum I believe them to be demiaroace specifically they’re definitely open to sexual experiences (obviously) and romance but when when it comes to romance especially I think they struggle with the idea that actually they don’t have to always be sexual And they have the capacity to love others and I think it’s displayed in their route (when you specifically ask to cuddle) that they’re not used to the idea of romantic intimacy but are open to it but I think they go very steady with it.
- very much a nerd I think that to me their mentioned teen years in the game make them sound a bit dorky and nerdy at least to me and they definitely never dropped the nerdy behavior. They’ll play G&G ( inspired by the fact Ben Hwas VA is a well known TTRPG Player) and they love horror movies and games specifically a lot specially the low budget shitty horror movies that they can get a bit of a giggle out of. They have at least once pulled the incredibly cheesy move on someone of the oh I’m so scared of this part of a horror movie let me cuddle up to you without a doubt.
- big napper they love to sleep. Mostly based off the valentines art they love to sleep a lot. Cuddle piles are their favourite they love to be close to people and there’s obviously a level of vulnerability and intimacy I think they’d like. I’ve said this before but I think they’d very much love to cuddle and be around Timmy and you will absolutely find both of them splayed out on the bed snoring. And they’d also frequently do cuddle piles with other bedroom members too like Teddy and Betty just like the Valentine’s Day art
bonus sleep headcanon: they drool and snore like crazy and it ain’t pretty I definitely think they act like they’re the most graceful sleeper but you hear them snoring from a completely different room. They also tend to roll around in their sleep and start kicking and starfishing. If you’re next to them you’ll most likely end up on the floor.
- small appearance headcannons: I think their style would be very inspired by the Ayesha erotica bimbocore aesthetic. they very much would take inspiration from her in their style. They’d also revisit a lot of their teenage fashion sense but now as an adult knowing that now they can definitely pull it off as they fully know how to style themself.
- they’re short but mighty. Their height means nothing (I headcannon them to be low 5ft range) when they definitely can lift up people. They have a level of strength not as much as people like Tydus or Dasha. But they definitely can lift up and carry other people. And they love carrying people around definitly bridal style carrying. But their flexibility is accompanied by a wild strength that you wouldn’t think they’d have
- they have 2 big fears And that’s being abandoned and the dark. Being in the draw so long definitely made them more afraid of the dark than anything and obviously being abandoned before they fear that it’ll happen again with other people. And it definitely breaks down a bit of their external confidence when those fears come to light.
- Post realisation especially they would get really into creative fields. specifically fashion or costume design. I think normally they’d love fashion and learning about how the industry works would be something that deeply interests them. To me they’re a person who would have a deep passion and creative drive but up until realisation never had the room to express it.
